Mt. Hood Meadows reviews
15Best ski resort on Mt Hood. Most diverse terrain and very well run. Will usually only see lift lines on the weekend. Great night skiing too but if a big storm comes in and you love night/storm riding as much as I do Ski Bowl is the place to be!
Great Ski Resort in the winter. Large variety of trails for all levels of experience. Excellent hiking trails in the summer too!
Fun place and when there's no snow the ski lifts take you to the top where a great view of the volcano is available
I love this place. It's a beautiful spot for hiking with a few options depending on your time and hiking skills
A cool spin on hiking. Take a lift up the mountain. You can hike around near the top of MHM. Hike back down, or take the lift down. Wildflowers, views galore.
Absolutely awesome in the summer. The wild flowers were gorgeous. Can't wait for snow!
Beautiful! The Mirror Lake hike was nice there were a lot of people there enjoying the lake.
And We placed within the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with them, and We made therein [mountain] passes [as] roads that they might be guided.
[Al- Quran Chapter 21, verse 31].
Beautiful and majestic sight, reminds of His grandeur n glory.
They are going cashless. Yes I realize they will have reverse flow arms.however they are going cashless hello crypto currency.think about the recent collapse of fx or whatever it was called CEO was a scammer company folded ceo wss investigated snd arrested Also cyber security isn't so great lots of banks and state agencies getting hacked
Edit I understand you guys don't accept crypto.but what does cashless lead to? Look at the bigger picture.cashless leads to crypto or scanning something on the body
I'm 59 years old as well as my wife we both lived in Oregon all our lives graduated from Sandy high school in 1982 and have never been to Mount Hood Meadows or have rode a chair lift. It was our first time and we loved the trail, ride on chair lift and the mountain.
One of the best places to visit in Portland, OR. During summer, one can take a hike at different trails, or ride a chair-lift.
Held my Ski Team's retreat back in 1996 on Mt. Hood. We were hosted by the Reed College Ski Team in their cabin in Government Camp, followed by a night in Timberline Lodge and our final night up at Silcox Hut. FANTASTIC retreat! We skied at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, Mt. Hood Meadows & Timberline Ski Area. Mt. Hood TRULY has the BEST (as well as closest) Skiing that's close to Portland.
Try the timberline national historic trail, late july to late august! The wildflower bloom will mesmerize you! You can also try to take the chairlift to start at top of the mountain and hike down making it easier for you and reducing the loop to just about 2.5 mile! Mt. Hood is a true wilderness, so be cautious of natural elements.
It's a nice place.
The setting is pretty with a nice view from the top of the chairlift.
The price of the round trip per person is just exaggerated!
I pay that price to do 4 hours of winter skiing in the French Alps.
It must nevertheless be admitted that the staff is always pleasant and smiling, which is a pleasure to see.
Best snow on Mount Hood. Lifts are shorter but there are a variety of runs for all levels. Vista, Cascade and Heather's canyon are frequently closed for weather but when open are a blast.
The lounge addition of Sahale has been welcome with decent dining options and good beer. Free Wi-Fi, seating availability isn't always great. There is a little shack on the mountain to get a beverage or snack too.
You can ski practically down to your car which is convenient.
In the summer, the scenic chairlift lands you on a easy level hiking path (6 year old managed 3 miles just fine). Beautiful wildflowers everywhere. The trails could be better marked, especially just off the lift, but they have friendly staff to help. Take in the views for beautiful waterfalls you can dip your feet in.
