Love the variety of Apples and Pears especially the Mountain Rose. Sauntering the Apple House is worth the drive

Just viewed this Venue and it's SPECTACULAR. The building itself is probably the most beautiful building within the United States.

Having been a vendor there, I thought the staff was well organized, friendly and helpful! And the venue itself is GORGEOUS! That view of Mt. Hood is tough to beat and never gets old (and the inside of Mt. Hood Organic Farms is exceptional!).

This is one of the most - if not THE most - stunning venues for a wedding in Oregon. My sister was married here this past weekend and our family and guests were blown away by the breathtaking view of Mt. Hood, the extremely well kept and flourishing grounds/gardens, the intimate yet spacious event spaces and or course the stellar staff and vendors. The owners do an outstanding job of making the farm beautiful all year and we’re some of the most thoughtful, generous and helpful people! The Event Coordinator Kristen, was imperative to the success of the wedding. She made everyone involved feel at ease, took care of any issues without having to involve any of us, and kept everything running smoothly. She has a knack for what she does! The partnership of Kristen and the property owners is one of great value! This is truly a magical venue and one that I would never overlook as an option for your special day. The venue is accommodating, fairly priced for the incredible value you get and will leave your guests speechless! The food is outstanding! Fresh, organic and full of flavor. This was the perfect wedding venue - all around! Thank you for giving my sister and her now-husband a day and night that exceeded their wildest dreams!

This was the most special place to have our wedding at and bring all of our guests to! I’m reading through all of the reviews and pretty shocked at any non-5 star reviews, but also thankful for them because reviews like that are maybe why there will still a few dates available a year before our wedding and made it possible to have our wedding there! I think anything negative that’s been left is more a reflection of those people and not necessarily the venue.

Brady and John are the sweetest people - I think I came 3 times ahead of the wedding (first tour, to show my mom, to show my mother in law) and Brady was so sweet each time accommodating my requests to come again. This was the first organic farm in Oregon and she and her husband built the place with their own hands. It is clear how much love they’ve poured into this place and the architecture of the apple house (where the reception is) is amazing. And it has the best view of Hood in the area!

Cassandra and Kristen are the best tag team duo of coordinators - super responsive to any (the many) questions I had and always made you feel like you were in the hands of professionals.

And the food is insane - seriously so many guest commented on how good the salmon was and the meal is so seasonal and delicious. Ginger is also the sweetest person and thoughtful plans each meal.

Our wedding was a magical day and I am so grateful we had it at Mount Hood Organic Farms

My daughter recently got married at this venue. It is without a doubt beautiful. However, I agree with other reviewers that the owner Brady is, in my opinion and experience, awful! It felt like she did everything in her power to put a damper on the day. We, unfortunately, had to have the wedding indoors due to (barely there) rain. It felt like the owner did everything short of telling us NO, we can't have the wedding outside. When I mentioned that we paid for the outdoor view, her curt response was "you also paid for shelter. " Sorry, but no one forks over that kind of money at that particular venue, for an indoor wedding.

During the actual ceremony, Brady seemed to feel it necessary to open and slam doors of the indoor space where the wedding was being held. And when I say slam doors, I mean she slammed them. They claimed the wind blew the doors open, which is entirely untrue. I watched her open them herself and slam them during the actual vows (also, there was no wind, as the guests and wedding photos can attest). Unbelievable!

Pros: absolutely beautiful place to have a wedding (and they clearly know that and it seems that gives the owner reason to treat guests like dirt).

The chef - she's lovely and the food is the best! Well worth it! So many compliments about the food!

The wedding coordinator who was at the actual event was lovely and super accommodating and helpful. She was amazing, I forget her name but super sweet and helpful.

The bride and groom quarters are nice (I only saw the bride's). I will say the bathroom was not clean. The toilet was gross.

Cons: 100% the worst part of this experience was the owner's behavior and attitude. She was absolutely awful. Hovering over everything, disrupting the ceremony and just a complete, overall negative energy and presence putting a damper on an otherwise beautiful day. If she doesn't want people on her property, she should stop renting her venue. We had SO MANY unsolicited complaints from guests about her (rudeness to Uber drivers, hovering over everything, picking up things during the reception, "barking" orders at people, etc.) her behavior was truly unbelievable.

Bathrooms. Porta potties. I will say they were pretty well maintained. Several of our guests got "scolded" for using the wrong porta potty. Really? ! Apparently some are only for construction workers. I mean, they are porta potties people. Does it really matter enough to scold guests?

Cost. This venue is crazy expensive. You have to pay to use their wedding coordinator, who did absolutely nothing to help prepare for the wedding. However, I will reiterate that the coordinator who handled the actual wedding (who was different from the pre-wedding coordinator) was amazing.

Happy to answer any questions folks might have.

I didn’t think it was possible, but the farm outdid our already high expectations.

Everything Brady told us on the tour came to be- our guests were truly blown away by the venue and had such a lovely time.

We had a perfect day, and all our loved ones will be singing the farm’s praises for years to come.

Brady + the MHOF crew were a joy to work with. Her property, her partners (Cultivate Catering + Cassandra + Kristen) made planning our wedding a breeze and so easy to plan. The setting is truly special with amazing views, beautiful settings for our guests to explore and a truly unique building that we will never forget. Cultivate Catering provided more than enough delicious food and excellent drink service. Cassandra and Kristen ran our event with professionalism, organization and friendliness.

Thank you so much for everything! Memories will last forever for me, Ben, and all of our friends and family.

As a wedding photographer in Oregon, there is no shortage of scenic wedding venues, but, and maybe since I've been out photographing weddings there for 13 years and have seen the love, care, and heart that Brady & John have put into their farm and to all of their guests, to me Mt Hood Organic Farms is magic. I've photographed in all types of weather on the farm and each time, there is always something special. Weddings to me are about connecting, celebrating, and honoring the people in our lives and to be with your favorite people on a farm under the Wy'East mountain with the tastiest of food and the kindest people, there is nothing better. It's always a joy to visit the family at Mt Hood Organic Farms and couldn't recommend them enough.

A heart warming experience of old world farming. John is a charming farmer loving his land, crops and fruit. He shares them generously and the fruit is the best we've ever eaten! The setting is stunning!

I hate that I have to post an unpleasant review but i needed to make it known; to the owners of this establishment, people make mistakes and they shouldn't be condemned for it or spoken to with complete unprofessionalism and downright rudeness. I scheduled a tour date with Mt Hood Organic Farms and unfortunately mixed up dates with another venue who also has "Mt Hood" in their name. Mt Hood Organic Farm's is an Orchard** in Mt Hood and i had booked a tour date with The Orchard** in Mt Hood. Honest mistake, mind you I'm also 8 months pregnant and trying to plan a wedding. When my fiancé offered to help schedule a tour for Mt Hood Organic Farms (because it hadn't yet been crossed off our list) we received an email reply stating "they weren't too interested in rescheduling" due to our prior missed appointment. Both confused, and realizing i had mixed up venues, my fiancé kindly replied stating it wasn't our intent to miss our appointment or to stand them up whatsoever. Brady, the owner, replied with "I'll pass". Wow! So sorry for the honest mistake. So very sorry not everyone is as perfect as you, Brady. I'm sure you've never missed a Drs appointment or have dropped the ball on anything in life? Your email replies will get posted on other social apps for others to see. Thankfully there are many other wonderful venues in the area. May you have the day you deserve. Cheers

Mt Hood Organic Farms was the PERFECT place for our destination wedding. My family is from the area and I grew up coming to Hood River. I always knew that I wanted to get married here and as soon as we got engaged and started looking at venues- I knew MHOF was the perfect spot. Besides the obvious beauty of the venue- the meticulous gardens, the mind blowing views of Mt Hood, and the unique Apple house- I loved how simple they made this process!
Almost every guest at our wedding commented that it was the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever been to and that it also had the best food they have ever eaten at a wedding.
The other stars of the show are Kristen and Cass. Cass was so helpful leading up to the wedding- her website has so much useful information and she was so good at checking in with us and making sure we were totally organized leading up to the big day. I don't even know where to begin with Kristen. Almost every day since the wedding my husband or I will make a reference to Kristen and how she truly was the reason our wedding was such a magical day. I even have friends who still talk about her! She was extremely organized, knew how to handle a crowd and really was the person who was looking out for me and my husband the day of. She stood up for us in weird family/vendor moments, she always made sure we had a drink and had enough to eat, she checked in with us multiple times throughout the night to update us with the timeline. I cant even describe how vital she was to us! She was our wedding hero (so cheesy but I dont know how else to describe her)!
If you are thinking about getting married here- DO IT! We had the best experience and our wedding day was a perfect dream all thanks to this venue and all the people who made it happen! Thank you especially to Brady, Cass, Kristen, and Ginger!
