Mt. Hood Pet Medical reviews
22This is my new vet for my sweet Abby! Dr. Smyly was super sweet, caring, and SO knowledgeable! Even though I didn’t get to meet her face to face due to Covid, she took the time to explain things thoroughly so I completely understand the treatment for my dog going forward. Kailey, her tech was so sweet and caring as well. Definitely bringing all my pets here from now on.
Helped my little Pom Ginger quickly when she had an infection. They offered several solutions and they were quick to get her in. Thank you!
I have two bunnies and recently started taking them here. It has really been one of the most amazing experiences. One bunny was nutered. The other a normal check up. And I even missed an appoinment due to being sick and they were super understanding. We ve very much recommend Mt Hood Pet Medical.
I am so thankful for all of you! My Wynnie has had some horrible ear and skin issues and finally today she got a clean bill of health!
It did cost $$$ to get her this point but that is expected.
The Dr’s and staff provided me with excellent education about Wynnies condition, everyone has been so friendly making Wynnie and I feel like we are the most important clients.
Today it was fun to see Wynnies name on the “ Today’s Wellness Plan Friend's” board. Certainly a Kodak moment!
Thank you for your excellent customer service, wonderful facility and great staff!
I was pleased with the service and help given to me. I was able to get the CHIP issue taken care of. Wait time in room was a bit long for assistant to do paperwork, but over all very satisfied.
Just not very happy with the way they handled the situation with my cat. Prices very high and not very thorough. My cat ended up passing away cause they waited 3 hours to send in bloodwork when he was already declining fast.and offered no xrays. I just feel they didnt take into consideration how bad he really was by turning in bloodwork 3.5 hours after they took it. It should of been priority.
Understanding, kind an empathetic staff. They have a very clean facility as well. Moderate cost expense. Would definitely refer Dr. Smiley.
I have nothing but positive things to say about my entire experience at Mt Hood Pet Medical. I was lucky enough to be introduced to Dr Smyly, VMD and my 80lb Male English Bulldog with a severe skin problem and ear infection instantly trusted the Dr. Barney was relaxed during the exam and treatment what a freaking miracle and the vet techs where just as impressive. The clinic was spotless and professional start to finish and Barney is well on his way to a full recovery! Thank You Dr Smyly and Team!
We had to take our puppy in to get treated for a bite and the staff was great, facility was clean, all around fantastic clinic and will have our continued business.
Kayla the vet tech was great and the doctors are always personable and prompt. I've had nothing but good experiences at this place.
So happy with how friendly everyone is from the moment you walk in the door. And they took great care of my fur barbies. I will continue going here.
We absolutely love the staff here! We have 2 very naughty pugs and as funny as they are, they're terrors. They still smile every time they see us!
We brought my son's 14 yr old pup in, he had been seriously ill for a few days. We had him at the VCA on Stark the night before (you can read my review on that experience!) which was hideous!
I can not say enough about how amazing Dr Claire and the whole staff was! Honestly it was the BEST experience for the worst situation, they treated us and our dog with the utmost respect. She explained what was going on, our options, he had kidney failure, we didn't have to put him through any unnecessary testing. The vet tech was so compassionate too, she even brought us a clean blanket to put him in as he had urinated in his on the way there We we're able to be with him and say goodbye, he went to sleep in my son's arms knowing he was loved.
What impressed me so much was Friday we came in, 3 weeks later and all I asked was I was here to pick up Drake, they immediately went back and brought him to us My son has a plaster paw print with his name on it, a bottle with a lock of his fur and a beautiful box with his remains. The customer service here is beyond fantastic, so loving, caring and kind!
When my son is ready for another pup, this will be his vet. I really can't thank them enough.
DO NOT CREMATE YOUR DOG OR CAT HERE! Our 17 year old family beagle needed to be put down because of bad hips and seizures and we took her to Mt Hood Pet Medical to be cremated. The Dr observed our dog for 2 minutes and admitted that she was old and suffering. They charged us $287.90 (invoice #546038). They are criminal. Call any other clinic and get the service for $50.
The Vets and staff are really great! They have taken great care of our puppy and have really been helpful to my wife and me in diagnosing and helping us with various methods of Administering medicine.
First of all I’ve never wrote a review for anything before but Mt.hood pet medical was so amazing I felt I had to. My dog dodger was super sick and I needed an appointment immediately. I called and they got us in 15 minutes later. The nurses and doctors were so nice to us, very knowledgeable, and explained everything they were doing, complete with estimate costs of what they wanted to do before they did it. Unfortunately dodger and I got bad news. They gave him a shot to make him as comfortable as possible so I could spend one more day with him and I made an appointment the next day for him to be put down. The next afternoon he seemed to be in a lot of pain so I called in to see if I could bring him in earlier and yet again they got him in ASAP. Once again they explained everything to me step by step, even had a last lil cookie for him to enjoy, and gave me all the time I wanted to say good bye before and after he was gone. They went above and beyond what I expected and I will recommend them to everyone I know who has pets in the future. Toughest couple days of my life, he was only six and it happened so fast but they helped make saying good bye less stressful. Thank you Mt.hood pet medical!
We just moved to Gresham this summer and needed a senior wellness check for our 15 year old cat. So pleased we found Mt. Hood Pet Medical. They were friendly, professional, and very thorough. Highly recommend them.
Only good things to say! Everyone is so nice and considerate. You can tell they work hard and care about all animals. I feel like I’m taking my kids over to their aunties and uncles to get spoiled each time. My Two kitties and I love Mt Hood Pet Medical! My two sisters referred me, between them they have four dogs and one cat. We all have had a positive experience! Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Dr. Garden and Dr. Nelson are both excellent. I have a very nervous dog and their presence is all was so calming dor both my dog and me. My dog may not like going to the vet, but she is no longer so stressed out by it.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. One nurse came in to the room for the sole purpose of saying hi to my cat.
