Great lunch spot, but can be really busy at lunch, and not enough seats. They have tasty rich broth without being too heavy. Awesome noodles that are cooked perfect.

Went in to check out their menue. I have dietary restrictions and had all my questions answered. Definitely going back to order a soup on my lunch break. The aroma was wonderful in the place inside. The people who were eating there had generous portions in their bowls.

WE WILL NEVER ARGUE WITH IGNORANCE! A tucked away noodle bar serving delicious Japanese comfort food in a small but cozy and comforting bar, if its not packed. The service isnt bubbly and overbearing like a lot of modern restaurants, which I prefer. I know that may not be everyones cup of tea but i appreciate the realness and authenticity of this locally run joint. And that authenticity comes through in the food. The ramen and curry are delicious!

Authentic and high quality ramen. Small place, but friendly and made me want to come back. The chili oil was bomb as well.

This place is mediocre at best. Came for a late lunch and sat outside because they probably have 8-10 stools inside.

Got the shrimp to try something different and tonkotsu. The broth was NOT piping hot, rather warm. Service was meh given only person working. Would try another place!

Parking is easy!

The broth is lacking in flavor y'all. I don't understand the other glowing reviews. Sure paitan is supposed to be light but I mostly tasted salt. I've had good paitan broth before. The service is good though - the workers are nice. Atmosphere is alright but it definitely is a place to eat fast and get out to do your next thing.

Mugen is the best ramen shop in south west! Beats kizuki and ryoma hands down. Hole in the wall type place, i recommend grabbing a table outside.

Worst experience in a very long long time
So I had high hopes when i stopped in for a taste, Well let me tell you
my experience was less than favorable, I walked in and my first point of
contact was a very nice younger guy, nice smile and more than happy
to explain the menu to me. So far so good right? ! Then when i come back to pick up my togo order it was on a shelf, But the cook just looked at me and
grunted like "There it is" No thank you for spending hard earned money here.have a nice night come again nothing!
Then i get home and find he had not given me my change ($6.00) for the twenty i gave him.great way to treat a new customer. I call them he says next time your here we will give it to you.first of all no!
it was basically theft of my monies. Then onto the meal at hand. Absolutely
nothing was fresh other than maybe the sprouts.pork was less than two good bites and 80% fat.just was not even worth $7.95 let alone $14.00
I then drove 5 miles all the way back to return food and get my change
I get there and I said you should refund my money completely because the food was sub par and you kept my change, He just smiled gave me my 6.00 and i left, when i got into my car I pulled out and i saw them laughing and looking my way like they had pulled a fast one on me but didnt care a bit.second of all who are they kidding, seriously fatty terrible undercooked pork
boiled egg looked like it had been buried in coffee grounds, outdated bamboo and nasty mushrooms. Not to mention the chicken they were serving was straight up $4.99 Costco chicken (are u kidding me?)
i seen the cook pull it straight from the kirkland (costco) container.
So in a nutshell I will never ever ever go there again and I recommend
you do not either. There are plenty of $14.00 bowls of pho or other type of soups, better products and restaurants around. That dont claim to be fresh and home made and then serve up Costco chicken. Shame on you for mis leading good local people just so you can make a fast buck. Keep in mind I am 60 years old retired disabled man on low income.and have lived here all my life, So Not just a person passing through etc etc. Very disappointed Because we all have bad days

Mugen’s broth was rich, buttery with a hint of smokiness…Delicious! They cook it for 26 hrs and it pays off! Their noodles were perfectly cooked, but aren’t made in house. One of my favorites so far and I’ll definitely go back! They have outdoor tables and indoor counter seating and are located in an outdoor strip mall. The service was really great!

The establishment is a bit small and crowded for my liking, but that's expected from a little bar setting. They have a good selection of ramen noodles and what I have tried is pretty tasty. The service does not seem as friendly at first, but when I was being frightful of a wasp while sitting outside, the server checked up on me, helped me get rid of the insect, and had me move inside.

Typical bar style seating small but very pleasant atmosphere. They also have nice outdoor tables. Really outstanding Ramen including a hazelnut based broth for vegans that is absolutely delicious even for the carnivore! I recently tried katsu chicken with beef curry gravy that was superb!

A tiny, in other words authentic representation of, a ramen noodle bar.

They have a good set of variances, rather than an enormous menu, so you can find something that will fill your stomach just the way you want it to be filled.

Decent prices, minor, if any, wait time, and friendly service that will start up a conversation if you’d like one.

One of my favorite places to grab dinner. Their katsu kare is amazing. Staff is very friendly.

Excellent flavor ramen! We had Miso, Shoyu, and curry flavors, and were full bodied and with great textures.

Very affordable for what you get, and the portions were just perfect. We will be back for sure!

It’s amazing and our go-to-place. Food is incredible, great vegan options too. Soo yummy! OMGoodness.

Ordered the Tori Paitan with Chashu and the suggested chili oil. First of all, the price blows all other bowls of ramen out of the water. The quality and presentation at this price point exceeded expectation. Second, the flavor was solid. Noodles were thick and chewy. Their tamago was HUGE and flavorful. Chashu was fatty, tender, flavorful and seared wonderfully. I visited a bit after lunch, so I can imagine seating and speedy service might take a hit during the dinner hours. All things considered, with how friendly the staff was and how delicious the food was, it's worth the wait.

The Spicy Miso ramen was okay, pretty bland overall and the noodles weren't my favorite texture.

Food was great. Service not so much.
But they have a great selection of food and beer.

I ordered the spicy miso ramen. The restaurant is pretty small. Recommend outdoor seating as inside is a bar seating. Plenty of parking space.
