Multnomah County Dental Health reviews
13 <3 IF ITS GOOD FOR YOU: BE BRAVE <3
In the past Ive been so scared of needles and clinical settings that Ive avoided necessary medical procedures like going to the dentist. Last year I avoided getting the deep clean I needed as the bedside manner of the Dr I had was really aggressive. That being said, my teeth hurt, so I decided to go back. I was cared for by ANNA when I first came in who did my assessment and who was wonderful and kind. The mean doctor had been let go! And I got DR. DOLATA instead. He is the sweetest, best dentist ever! Im even thinking of having my silver fillings replaced by him (needles!) cause I trust him THAT MUCH. I was given a prescription mouthwash which Medicaid covered and I picked it up at the pharmacy in the lobby! How easy is that? My deep cleaning was done by DEBRA who got me through some painful, scrapey-uncomfortable stuff as best she could. SHE'S THE ONE YOU WANT IF YOURE DOING A DEEP CLEAN AND YOU ARE A WEANIE. I have my fourth dentist appointment (this week!) tomorrow morning and then another two? At the end of the month. Im more relaxed every time I go in there and my gums and teeth look noticeable better. I truly feel that if it werent for this team helping me I wouldnt be able to do this. I really think I did something right in my past to deserve them. This building follows Covid 19 guidelines, there is a restroom, you can wear your headphones during a dental procedure.
(I suggest this!).
Ruben! What a gem! I was lucky to have this twenty-year hygienist on my team today. He was efficient and thorough, while also being reasonably gentle. He recommended products for tooth whitening that I immediately ordered when I got home. He was kind and explained everything before and as he worked. I felt very safe with him wearing two protective masks and am so happy I was able to get my teeth cleaned by him today, even though it can be a little worrisome with COVID-19. All front office staff has been excellent as well!
I was referred here from East county. I’ve been calling everyday for the past three days trying to schedule an appointment for myself because I never got a call to make the appointment like I was told I would, and every time I call I’m told that the dentist needs to review my chart and that I’ll get a call back. I’ve been told that the dentist is out of his office, he doesn’t work that day, etc. I understand it’s a public health office, but it shouldn’t take a hard time to schedule an appointment. I’ll change my rating IF I can schedule something and that goes well, but who knows.
Don't even bother to call in because you are NEVER going to get answered. There calling system is a mess and a complete joke. It doesn't take you hours to answer my call and when you finally answer, you ask me if I mind being placed on hold and then forget about me. What the heck? !
These people were every worried and seemed very concerned about my fiance when it came to his nerves in his teeth were exposed n did everything they
If you call, you will be on hold for at least 30 minutes. This is the most chaotic and disorganized unprofessional dental office I have ever stepped foot inside. The dentists are fine. The front desk staff and management is a joke.
Is it that hard to schedule an appointment? Or to locate it in the computer? My first appointment was at 1: 15pm. I show up at 1pm and they say no it's at 2pm. Whatever, no biggie, I play on my phone. My next appointment I schedule in person for the next day at 9: 30. I go to check in and the same front desk lady can't find my appointment! It took her over five minutes to find it. She had to ask my name and date of birth twice. Never asked me to spell my name though.
I don’t recommend this place to anyone! They’re a scam! They will take your $25 only to tell you they can’t do anything for you and that they have to refer you to another county office. There you will have to pay another $25 in hopes they can help you. Sad they take poverty for granted!
I love this crew. Starting at the front desk and onward until you leave they make you feel like they actually care. Oh yeah.and they are just so damn NICE.
The dental side is the best I've ever experienced considering a county office.
The dentists all have great personalities! Make jokes, even if your teeth are poor.
Don't make you feel bad or talk down to you.
Only bummer is so many people go there that you can get one appointment every two-three months.
Very unprofessional. I had an appointment scheduled several weeks in advance but had it canceled when Dr. Maciej Dolata called in to say that he was not going to be 15 minutes before the appointment. This demonstrates disregard for the patient and I cannot recommend him as a provider.
Very caring and talented staff.
Recently they have changed their scheduling to set appointments within 2 week - - What a tremendous help!
