Multnomah County Library - Holgate reviews
9Good atmosphere. Front Secretary was not friendly, but helpful. This picture was in the library parking lot.
Very, very helpful and patient with my inability to get Libby to work so I can download audio books.
Extremely helpful staff and a beautiful building just loaded with resources! I went to get a library card and some forms, and got everything I needed in just a few minutes.
The librarians are quite knowledgeable on what they are doing and they are keeping the library sanitized even after the year we have had after the pandemic and the rising of the homeless population. The remain open and are quite helpful.
This library is clean, usually quiet, and a good place to do work. I can’t vouch for the selection as I haven’t read anything from here, electing rather to use the place as a place to read articles and research. It serves its purpose well in that regard. 10/10 would recommend.
We love this library. Denise is lovely and always helpful. Our daughter reads a book a day and as an educator having access to books and knowledgeable librarians like Denise is vital. Thank you so much for everything, we appreciate you all!
I wonder how many librarians have been laid-off over the past year, and the one working at Holgate who is running the whole place can barely speak the language and arrived maybe five or six years ago from the same place where all of this stuff started? I feel like I'm living in a dream world. There was one librarian in the whole place who talked through a little loudspeaker in a plastic wall. It was like a scene from 1984. He tried his best to be very helpful and polite but he barely understood a word I said.
We couldn't have gotten through the pandemic without this Library. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful.
Had copies made for free thank you. But we need tax money back if we can't fully use our library's
