Needed an instrument for an event in Oregon but love out of state. Rented one here. Rental and return were both easy. Friendly service as well.

Called to ask if they have any guitars for kids before I drive an hour. Dude on the phone says yeah! Get there the same day, dude says “aww, thought we had some but I guess not. ” Not even a sorry or anything. Just rude.

Renters Beware- Keep all documents or rent somewhere else! We rented our 5th grader an alto Sax from Tigard Music. Instrument was great, easy process. No problems. Returned the instrument in February (before the end of the school year), we got a small refund. No problem. Then in August I get a notice from collection agency saying I owe Music and Arts $55. Come to find that use to be Tigard Music and they say I didn't return the instrument. Music and Art customer service says I have to deal directly with the Tigard location. The Tigard location employees and store manager wouldn't solve this even though in their system it says I returned it. In the course of the last two months I've called 4 times, have gone in 2 times, called the call center of Music and Arts 2 times and it still hasn't been resolved. I don't think I'm alone in getting sent to collections before even getting a bill.

I bought some guitar strings for my acoustic, and there was a rough patch in one of my tuning keys. It broke the string I bought, after which Jason filed down the key itself so that wouldn't happen again, saving me money in the long run.

Being a new student to mandolin I didn't know what was wrong but I was not happy with how my mandolin was sounding. Jason immediately diagnosed it needing new strings
and he straightend the bridge. I have had this mandolin for a year,
I did have the strings replaced somewhere else this summer
but it now sounds better than it ever has. I am one happy customer
and will be directing everyone I know who needs anything musically to Tigard Music. Thank you Jason and Tigard Music

Ron and his team were the best. Plus he has a great work vehicle that I had the pleasure to riding in and the brakes did not squeak at all.

While visiting family in Portland, I stopped in here because tuning my guitar was nightmare. Took it here, and a young man was able to get it dialed in for me at no cost! I actually ended up buying strings and a strap. Wish we had this type of store in FL. Great customer service!

Always good to check what Tigard Music have. I got some ideas on what uke to give my 6yr old granddaughter. I'm teaching her. Good service from Ron. Good to see Mark is still there.)

Even though I didn’t purchase my saxophone from them; they gave me FANTASTIC SERVICE AND ARE WELL MATTERED ENOUGH THAT I WILL/WOULD REFER THEM TO A STRANGER if given an opportunity. Thank you Tigard Music.

The staff was really helpful and knowledgeable. The customer service was amazing. Thank you guys so much. I highly recommend this shop for students looking to lease an instrument.

Recently stopped in when I was in town from Texas to check out the Guitar selection. WOW. Old school, new school, they had it all. Friendly knowledgeable staff. What a gem!

Awesome little boutique music store! I bought a vintage Fender Strat from here to ship back to my Father in the UAE. The young gentlemen who helped me was very knowledgable and nice. The guitar was even tuned off the wall!

Best local music store I have been to in the Portland-Metro area. My old tenor sax needed A LOT of help, and the nice repair lady here got in back to perfect playing condition.

I live in Salem and couldn’t get any help from any stores in my area, and I didn’t buy anything from these guys but I called Tigard Music to get some help with operating my new keyboard and these guys were friendly and quick to solve my problem! Good customer service at Tigard Music.

They did a set-up for my electric guitar and putted brand new strings on it for 65 dollars. Great quality & great staff!
