Nappy Lam DDS, Portland OR

I came in for a dental emergency and was feeling very anxious. Dr. Lam has a calming energy and a wonderful sense of humor, which immediately put me at ease. He is professional, knowledgeable and kind. I knew I was in good hands from start to finish of my appointment. I won't be going anywhere else for my dental care.

Dr. Nappy Lam and his staff are just incredible in the work they do and the kindness they show to their patients (as well as the incredible volunteer work Dr Lam does). I have been going to Dr Lam and I appreciate his willingness to work with me on schedules and payment plans and his caring demeanor.

Everyone in the office is great including Shelly (who has moved on but was amazing) and Robin (such an incredible person and hygienist) and Karen, Vicky and Syeera and everyone who has helped.

I have been meaning to write this for a long time and if you are looking for a dentist or to recommend a dentist in Portland, OR this is your team for sure. My teeth are great and I thank Dr Lam and the staff for EVERYTHING!

Dr. Nappy Lam is truly the best dentist I've ever had. I actually looked forward to teeth cleanings because it was such a pleasant experience! He and his staff are kind, gentle and really approach dentistry from a person-centered perspective. I just moved away from Portland and had the sad thought, "Will I ever be able to find a dentist as great as Dr. Lam? " I think not. Is it crazy to want to plan trips back to Portland around my teeth cleanings so I can keep a great dentist?

After multiple less than ideal experiences with other dentists over last 3 decades - I finally found someone I trust to drill on my teeth! Love this office, the dentist, and staff. Answered all my questions non-judgmentally, and did not try to upsell me.

I've been to Nappy Lam a couple of times and have had great service each time. Being a medical professional myself, and knowing how much shady stuff can go on in medical establishments, I tend to be very suspicious of new providers. Dr. Lam has proved multiple times his trustworthiness, genuine caring and down to earth spirit, and service. I'm giving 5 stars for his friendliness, decent affordability, and for his transparency in showing me the images of teeth worked on etc. Thank you Dr. Lam!
