Fantastic store to get organic produce, gluten and dairy free products, and pretty much any vitamin or supplement you've ever heard of. I find that their prices are generally lower than other health food stores. Also, their bulk section is amazing! Herbs, spices, nuts, seeds, pretty much every kind of flour, dried beans, grains, natural sugars.the list goes on.

A pretty weird store that I've never seen very many people in. For a natural food store the produce selection is really small, though affordable for organic and quite high quality. They always seem to not have fairly normal things I'm looking for, last time was that English muffins are only available frozen and not fresh.

This is truly one of the best Stores in all of the Natural Grocers I fould in Oregon. I wish they had this store in Salinas, Calif.
They were having an Anniversary Party. Anniversary Celebration with free Ice Cream and Drawings. The Staff and Employees were all friendly. Dressed for the Part of Being Happy To Be There. Thanks for the fun experience!

I like Natural Grocers, as their prices for most things are cheaper than a lot of places around town. I usually go to the Beaverton branch, but in summer at least, this branch is a nice bike ride away, and it's a bit nicer than the Beaverton branch.

Check this place out. Natural Grocers offers high quality produce, nutrition education, dietary vitamins and supplements, and body care products. For more than 50 years, Natural Grocers has committed itself to offering the best products at affordable prices as your dedicated community store. Fresh, natural groceries you’ll love.

Love that they have a all organic produce and groceries. I also like that they don't have shopping bags, which reduces waste. If you are looking for a quiet place to grocery shop, this is it. The prices are mostly reasonable, though it depends on what you buy. Wish they had a wider variety of things branded/made by them (so as to be cheaper), so I could do all my shopping here.

No bags, crummy attitude, ok for quick stop, appear to be struggling.
Cashier wanted to know if I had been I'm the before I said yes
He seemed to be hinting at I hadn't bought enough stuff, bought some coffee and Mayo. He gave me a bag I took it as a snyde remark to buy more. I think I will keep shopping at Chuck's in Vancouver.

Expensive if ya don't have their membership card. If ya do they have a few good deals. Convenient location but they have a strange parking lot and ya can't turn east onto Alberta with thr double yellow line and traffic.

I'm writing to voice concern over the managers behavior. This store is located in what was once a thriving Black community, that has now been gentrified. This morning a fellow community member noticed a noose hanging in the rear view of the managers car. When asked to remove it, they replied with "its not a big deal". However it is a big deal, a very big deal. I'm hoping you'll do what's necessary to change the thought process of someone employed to represent the values of your company. Unless racism is one of your companies values.

Pricey, pricey. But they do have some good sales prices on rotating items. Great deal on organic eggs if you join their "club". ONLIEST (!) place I can find my Newman's Own pomegranate licorice. YumImeanYum!

Love, love, love the great produce and other food selection. Not really into their whole ‘remedy’ section which is extremely large and just a theft of people’s money who don’t take the time to objectively look at the science of the supposed benefits.

I don't tolerate racism especially such blatant hate being spread by someone trusted to manage other people and trusted- no, expected to be a leader in your establishment. People should know what's being done as a result of that noose flaunting "manager" of yours getting caught. How disgustingly evil to do that and zero intelligence to expect to continue without consequences! This isn't the "white utopian" society a few jerks tried to create, that failed miserably. It never will be. Get over it!

So, I love Natural Grocer's prices, their produce is great (above Trader Joe's but below New Seasons), their selection of vegan and gluten-free foods is pretty amazing, not to mention their extensive supplement section.
But. (There's always a but.) Their bulk items come in individually wrapped plastic bags, which defeats the entire purpose of bulk. They commit to no bags available at the check out, but then drop the ball in the bulk section? If you're trying to reduce waste in your life, especially single-use plastic, skip this store and go to the Albina co-op instead. They're pricier for some staples, but their bulk section makes it actually possible to reduce your waste.
