Nebbiolo Restaurant and Wine Bar reviews
16WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE of any restaurant in the resort. Do yourself a favor and either skip it, or try to come when it opens @6 because once this place gets busy you can’t flag down a waiter to save your life. The Safe is under staffed and overwhelmed which makes them stressed and unable to give good service. I literally had so much anxiety being in this restaurant because I could feel the staff stressing out. Our host Julia was specifically the person who made our experience unbearable told wait staff to ignore me and my family so we couldn’t order, I mean who does that?
If you're in the vacinity of Oregon City, make this your stop. Our first visit here. Jason our server was outstanding. His service represents why some restaurants are successful. Great food and cocktail recommendations. The dessert cheesecake was awesome. Great vibe too.
Ribeye was excellent? As were the scallops. Tiramisu cheesecake was great too, if a tad heavy
The laughing and talking made me feel like I was at home with all my family. Yet I didn't have to cook anything and everything was awesome!
Food was great not amazing. The calamari dish needed more love than a side of aioli. Needed a drizzle of pesto, red pepper coulis, balsamic reduction, and/or a sprinkle of parm. The freshly baked bread with oil on the side was a highlight. Creme Brule'e was good but very basic. This place has potential but dishes need more flair and excitement. Overall though, our table was happy.
Just by chance we found this place. Enjoyed our visit. Bartender was good, friendly and efficient. Food was good and drinks were great. Look forward to going back and trying something different.
So good! We were so impressed with every dish! Favorite new neighborhood spot! Perfect blend between authentic Italian and PNW. Their award winning wine list is crazy reasonable and has plenty of variety. Our server was very knowledgeable, even while busy. I didn't have a chance to check out their wine shop but it is an adorable nook built into the restaurant, showing their commitment to delicious wines. We'll be back soon!
Brought my mother in for her birthday - our server was super friendly and helpful with recommendations. Food and drinks were delicious (I recommend the salmon cakes to share!) and the atmosphere is great. Will definitely be back!
Great food. Ravioli was delicious, steak was perfectly cooked and the sauces were complex and well chosen. Service was strained but that seems average these days. The atmosphere was confused. It's a wine bar but bar has a lot of beer taps and not much wine on display. We'll be back for the food!
So I ordered a $42 ribeye dinner to go, was not expecting steak soup. The dish is advertised with vegetables and potatoes but would never know because they're buried under inches of liquid.
Also ordered the smoked trout board which is sometimes salmon and usually comes with toasted baguette to spread the cheese on and this time that was omitted. Lousy especially for the price
PHENOMENAL! Great bar, great service, great owner, great wine list! Food was perfect.the perfect amount of magic and mischief
What wonderful experience! Greeted at the door with a smile. Service was top notch, and the food was over the top great! Can't wait to go back. I do think reservations are best as they are in demand. We sat at the bar and the owner came over to help me find the hook for my handbag. Don't find that kind of service in most places.
Nebbiolo is, hands down, the best restaurant in Oregon City. The food, drinks, and service are all consistently excellent. If there was one thing that could be improved, it would be to clean and purge the clams a bit more thoroughly, as they often come out sandy. The entrees, especially the lamb and the steak, and the tapas, especially the bree, are well portioned and delicious. I also recently tried the seared tuna salad, which was very tasty but needed a bit more of the greens to balance the large serving of tuna. We love this place and eat here regularly!
Nebbiolo is excellent. The food is creative and well executed. Service is outstanding. Noise level is high but not offensively so.
Has creative and greatly made cocktails, excellent wine list and a very cheesy and enjoyable menu. We keep finding ourselves coming back here time after time.
The waitress was wearing a face shield, not a mask and was not rude, but not friendly either. My friend and I ordered dinner and wine. The wine was very good. My friend liked her meal. I had the chicken breast, which was rubbery. My meal was served 10 minutes after my friend received hers. I had to ask for bread to go with my meal and it seemed stale and tasteless. The prices were reasonable, but I would not return.
