Very nice State Park campground. Lots of room for big RVs and lots of sites for tents. We didn't use the bathrooms or showers since we have an RV so can't comment on that. Short walk over some dunes to get to the ocean.

Just a wonderful staff. Firewood and ice at access. Really a great place to stay. Showers, super clean, easy beach access.

I stayed at the hiker biker site here which was awesome. Decent size, several picnic tables and fire pits. Water pump. Flush toilets close by, hot showers a little bit of a walk but not too far. Great place to socialise with other hikers and cyclists. Lockers with charging points also

Very quiet park during the weekdays. It is about a 1/4 mile walk up and over the dunes to get to the beach. The park staff is wonderful and attentive to the care and cleanliness of the park. If I had to nit-pick about something it is that there are no sewer hookups on the spot and the kids riding their bikes on the trails clearly marked No Bikes.

I camp with my horse's all over oregon and the maintenance at this park is really substandard.the registration booth lady was fantastic and helpful she was a bright spot.when we arrived on Wednesday afternoon the porta potty were both full.no toilet paper or hand sanitizer in either one. I had reserved a site that said accommodated 4 horses but there were only 2 corrals.when we tied the third horse to a tree we were issued a citation. I went to take a shower and most of the lights were out in the showers and there is mold on the walls and cigarette butts in the drains. We rode the horses to the beach but the horse camp sign cannot be seen from the beach so we came in the wrong way on way back getting a stern warning from the camp host that we were in a non horse zone. Inside the horse camp there were electric bikes whizzing thru all day as apparently they have to go thru the horse camp to get to their trails. The manure pile was mountainous and although I love the smell of horse the stench and bugs coming from it were awful. There were 5 very large unleashed dogs who rummaged thru our camp both mornings when I asked the owner to keep them on a leash he said well I didn't expect anyone to be up. Lastly there were no dog poop bags in the containers anywhere. The beach and bay are fantastic rides though so it was fun but the most expensive fee of anywhere I go and the worst maintenance.

Manzanita is a golf cart town. Legal to drive in the town.

State park workers drive golf carts in the park.

The public is not allowed to drive carts to the golf course from the park or in the park at all. I was told I have to load up my camper and tow the cart to the park entrance. Keep in mind this is a battery powered cart that is silent and does 10mph at best.

Unacceptable show of how the rules do not apply to them.

The rangers were very helpful and check in was a breeze even with the COVID restrictions. They are keeping everything clean and sanitized. High recommend this place!

The ranger at the check- in shack was friendly and provided helpful info on where to unhook my toad as well as general info about the park. So far very positive experience. This is a big camp ground with easy access to an incredible beach.
