Cute little place. I ordered the Shepards pie which is a dish I order a lot. This might be the best I've ever had. And also, I never notice great service but this was truly great service. You can tell they put their heart and soul into the place.

LOVE this place! We came here for a nice dinner for our anniversary and it was perfect. We ate in the garden which was recommended. The meals were delicious and perfect portions. A great price for the quality we got and the service is great! So inviting and genuine. We will be coming back!

Short review: STOP AND EAT HERE! This place is a real lighthouse of a dinner restaurant on a stretch of road where things seem to close real early. I felt so warmly welcomed when I arrived. I got the plate of the day, rockfish with a fruit chutney, plus broccoli salad. Delicious and nourishing food for a weary traveler along the foggy coast. It seems to be a mostly family-run joint, as well, so you can be truly supporting local industry while enjoying real food on the road.

It's simply wonderful. We had a fun time with the card game, like, would you rather. The food. ABSOLUTELY delicious. If it's your kind, I highly recommend the rockfish. Best I ever had. The peach pie is on another level, and the coziness makes you feel right at home. Everything I'd homemade, and like other reviews say, they make you feel like family. If your in the area and don't try this place, you made a mistake.

Excellent little restaurant! We stopped on a Friday night, sat out on the adorable patio and had Manicotti with Broccoli Salad and Kebabs. Both were delicious and the service was fast and friendly. We will definitely stop again.

Our first visit to the Night Owl was amazing! Some of the best service I’ve ever had - they truly make you feel like family. And the food was delicious! We had the manicotti (my fave!) and the kebabs. And the broccoli salad was bright and refreshing.

This place is a must visit! We will definitely be back!

The night owl is a refreshing option in an area with limited dining choices. The location and atmosphere are excellent and the friendly caring vibe from the staff are awesome. The menu isn’t big but varied with options for everyone. You can taste the passion and love in the food. The meatloaf is great, the Shepards pie is great, my wife and kids love the pasta dishes. I have had a fresh rockfish special that really showcased the quality of the fish without overpowering it. The night owl has been our go to for dining away from the house. Well worth trying them out.

Who knew that The Roost (by day), becomes the Night Owl by night! Kellyann is a local and a fantastic chef! Everything and anything on the menu is exceptional and is made with meticulous care and love. The ingredients are as fresh as it gets. A beautiful place to enjoy a fantastic dinner! A hidden gem in Wheeler OR and an absolute must stop.

Love love love the vibe! Very small town, local family run. Not exactly gourmet food, but good, hearty, fairly priced, good variety. So happy they’re close by!

I absolutely love that this place is open later in the evening! Delicious food and such warm and friendly service! This is a small location so the indoor seating is really "intimate" or "cozy" but it's a great addition to the north coast!
