3Knowing this place exists has really upped my homeowner project game. Love it.
Such a great community resource. 100% free. Show up on Saturday between 10am-2pm, grab whatever tools you need, check them out with your north Portland address and use them for a week! Turn them back in the following Saturday. They had tons of tools and machines!
Love the North Portland tool library! It’s great if you have a project to get done but are maybe missing a few high dollar items that you may not use often enough to justify the price tag of purchasing outright. Maybe you live in a small space and can’t store bigger tools. Even if you just need basic hand tools, or random bits and bobs they have a really diverse selection and multiples of them so don’t worry about things being checked out! They will most likely have what you need or it will make it’s way back the next week. The folks I’ve met who volunteer and work here are really friendly and helpful as well so that is a huge plus if you have questions or need advice. Also consider donating to them if you have tools you are going to get rid of! Truly just an awesome community resource in North Portland
