Fiona is awesome. They’re the only person to ever consistently give me exactly what I ask for (or what I need when I don’t know what to ask for). My haircut always comes out even and fits well with my head shape. The straight razor line up on my neck is the best way to end the haircut. Just overall a good experience every time. Fiona knows how to cut hair and will give you what you want and offer input when asked for.

I have found my new haircut person! Called everywhere trying to book a haircut for same day on a Sunday, and was just about to give up, when NWBA said to come down in an hour. I'll very glad I called them. Christine is fabulous! She was able to give me the haircut I wanted (and desperately needed) even though I couldn't really even describe to her what I wanted, as I'm not very hip to haircut lingo. She was clearly very experienced, very talented, awesome to talk to, and it was just the best haircut experience I've had since moving up here a few years ago. I'll most certainly be coming back to NWBA for all of my haircuts from now on. I can't personally vouch for any of the other stylists, as I haven't had them cut my hair, but I did see a lot of really nice haircuts in all of the other chairs as well. But if you get Christine, you should definitely be excited, as you're in very capable hands. I often get anxious about haircuts because I don't like the idea of having to be social with a complete stranger for 40+ minutes, but she made it easy, was very easy to talk to, and just made the experience so easy from start to finish. I huge weight off my shoulders, and a complete hair transportation. Come to Christine at NWBA and you will not be sorry.

Visiting Portland for the first time coming from California I stumbled upon this shop look super urban and the barber that I met Isaiah was great made me feel like I was back home with my barber I’m very particular on how I want my haircut and he lined me up super clean! Full service and very professional. Even filled me in on couple spots I should check around town super chill dude!

I’ve been coming here consistently for the last year with Anna and have never had anything but good experiences. My hair always looks great and gets lots of compliments. Easy to make an appointment and reschedule. Can’t see myself going anywhere else. I always recommend my friends to this place everyone in the building does a great job and love the inclusive atmosphere.

Fiona has been helping me look amazing for years! Recommend if your wanting to look sharp.

I have been to this shop serval times but this time I went to a different person, and I really tried to like the haircut but I just can't.

Prior to the haircut I showed a picture and explained what I was looking for and how I usually style my hair. I was not at all looking to cut my hair super short on the top but the barber INSISTED on trimming my bangs short when the length was perfect. I ended up with bowl-cut bangs in the front and a few pieces of hair constantly hanging on the back of my head because it was cut way too short around my crown.

Went in today for a beard trim and line up and Logan did an amazing job! The place was nice and everyone seemed really friendly, lots of good energy coming from everyone. Can't speak for haircuts 'cause I'm bald but for my fellow bearded folks, I definitely recommend this place / Logan:)

Logan does absolutely amazing work. I have never felt more confident in my hair than I do after a cut from them!

Great haircut from Sky despite my usual vague request to just make it short. Felt very comfortable in this barbershop and with this stylist as a queer woman wanting a low maintenance short haircut.
