Northwest Plane Rides

One of the best experiences of our lives! We are on a cross-country trip and this stands out on its own. I would easily go out of my way to do it again.
There is something special about being up there, in that plane, and in the open air. We flew over several points of interest that Dana, the pilot, was sure to point out over the headset. These sights included the local towns Friday night football, rivers, the coast line, and much more.
The aircraft is immaculant and felt super safe. The front seat is a bit tight but my wife probably preferred it that way.
I imagine your first time flying in the open air is a lot like sailing, you just kind of get it in your blood. Here we are a few weeks later and all I can think about is getting back up in the air.

If your questioning doing this, let me help you, book it. Add more time if you can but just be sure and do it.

Dana and his wife were very hospitable and provided a plethora of knowledge about the area. We had an incredible time, it being our first time in an open cockpit. An absolute must!

So glad I saw them flying around and decided to call. We had perfect weather and the flight was smooth. The pilot has a wealth of local information, and you can talk to everyone over the intercom. Highly recommend, definitely a once in a lifetime experience.

My dad and I are moving from the area, and we went up as a going-away treat. From start to finish, we had an amazing experience with the business! My dad has some movement disabilities, but they were accommodating, caring, and helpful, making for a smooth ride. We learned some interesting things about the area that we never knew after a decade of living here, and got to see a beautiful perspective on a place we love. Not to mention, the pilot and the plane are amazing!

WOW! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! What an incredible thing to experience! I am not an adrenalin junky by any means, but my girlfriend and I were visiting the Oregon coast for my birthday. We decided to spend my birthday visiting breweries in the area. As we were driving on the highway, we saw a sign that said "Bi-Plane Rides". We decided to turn around and go check it out. Little did I know this spontaneous adventure was going to be the highlight of our 5 day trip. The views were incredibly breathtaking. The pilot and his wife were amazingly nice and very good at taking pictures to capture this incredible experience. VERY MUCH WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Awesome experience. We lucked out with some good weather after a week of rain. Dana is a very talented pilot and a great tour guide. We saw a whale while we were out as well as breathtaking views of Devil's Lake and God's Thumb. We even saw our rental on Olivia Beach. It was a blast. I highly recommend Northwest Biplane Rides. We'll be bringing more family here and we'll definitely be back.

I went and set up a plane ride last minute and they were exceptionally helpful in getting it set up for me. Birthday present to my girlfriend and they were accommodating and pleasant and well worth the money I spent. I will be coming back.

Took a birthday flight of a lifetime. If you have time, this is wonderful. We will do this again going South down the coast line.

I am not sure I can put into words how great our experience was last week. It all started by seeing an a-frame sign near Highway 101 that said bi-plane rides today. We pulled in and before we knew it we were getting buckled in for an incredible experience. Everything from the pilot paying attention to what we were interested in and giving us the best angles to see it and then when we landed we were taken around the plane for some photo opportunities that turned our amazing. Their service is top notch. This will forever go down as one of the best birthday gifts I could have ever given someone. I would highly recommend everyone to see OREGON from this view. You will be well taken care of! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

After3 or 4 attempts for a biplane flight, all canceled due to weather, my grandson and I finally had a clear and calm day. Flight prep included instructions on squeezing into our shared seat, use of headphones and microphones and buckled up.
Take off was smooth and nearly instant. Flew over Siletz Bay and headed south over Gleneden Beach and Salishan to Depoe Bay. Dana provided commentary while searching for whales. We were lucky enough to see one surface. No other sightings except Coast Guard copter below us and incredible scenery.
Back to air stop for smooth landing and yoga exit.
Dana and Tammy were helpful and well informed on area and sights. Great adventure for both of us. Highly recommended.

Absolutely a great experience! First of all you will ride in a piece of aviation history, a 1929 Travel Air. Second, Dana, the owner/pilot is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. He obviously loves what he does and he does his best to help you share in the experience. We went for a half hour ride, but including time on the ground, he spent over an hour with us. In the air, he points out all the sights and interesting features of the central Oregon coast.

An amazing experience. Open cockpit flying is the only way to go. One of the best experiences of my life. Worth every penny.

Perfect day for a flight, got a new perspective of the coast line. Would recommend this to everyone.

Amazing hosts. My husbands face said it all when he seen the beautiful plane. This was an unforgettable experience for him and my brother-in-law. We will do this again every chance we get. They got to see a whale much better than the boat tour we took the day before. The pilot circled back for a better view. Thank you so much.
