Yesterday was my first experience with Northwest Primary Care. I went there looking for a new Primary Care Dr due to change in insurance. I saw PA Lindsey Robinson for the first time and the last. Lindsey was rude, argumentative, unprofessional and had a bad attitude. I wouldn't give one star but you have to leave at least one. Other Dr's at clinic might be just fine but this one is not. Will be seeking treatment elsewhere.

Policy Over Patient

I scheduled an urgent same-day appointment for a sinus infection. I usually see Dr. Saultz at the OC location and she is wonderful, I haven’t had any issues there. But the available opening was a 3: 30 appointment with a different doctor at the Happy Valley location. I was asked to complete check-in and payment online in advance, which I did. They requested I arrive 15 minutes early. Due to unexpected delays leaving I came in a few minutes before the appointment time (aka early!) and was told I was too late and my appointment canceled. This after a long drive through Friday rush hour traffic! No question of why I was delayed, no grace for the circumstances, or a firm reminder to arrive earlier next time, I was just turned away. I wasn’t even late, and I wasn’t arriving just before but still needing to complete paperwork, I just wasn’t early enough I guess. I literally still would have been sitting waiting for my name to be called. Should I leave two hours early next time to be absolutely sure I arrive 15 minutes early? I could hear the receptionist on the phone as I walked in speaking with the doctor and explaining I had already checked in and paid, and the doctor still said I was too late…or I guess not early enough. If this was the service I received at the desk up front maybe I dodged a bullet not seeing the doctor.

Still love Dr. Saultz who sees my whole family and we have not been treated this way at the OC or WL locations, but would firmly suggest not scheduling appointments at this location!

If being less than 15 minutes early is a cancelable offense then just schedule the appointment time for 15 minutes early. I (and most everyone) am typically punctual to appointments, so making this scheduling change would help avoid issues like this in the future.

Dr got me fasted blood work scheduled but when I came to NWPC They informed I had to have physician appointment as well. Front desk or Dr scheduled me wrong. I can not follow them work. I changed my schedule for this appointment but they messed it up well. I got my baby early morning to
Go there which is she never used to travel early morning. How disappointed I am right now.

Very slow to respond and get important information people need. Most of nursing staff I feel must be in training. Most of the time sound almost rude. Unprofessional!

Fantastic clinic. We’ve been patients for about a year now. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. Exactly what one would expect from your doctors office!

I was new to the area last fall and needed a primary care physician. After calling a few different "top rated" physicians' offices listed in Portland Monthly but learning they didn't take new patients, I asked a health care professional I met for their recommendation. She suggested I call NW Primary Care. I saw Dr. Barry Davis in December and he could not have been more thorough or professonal. He was very nice, patient, and gave me what I thought was excellent advice! The office setting was very comfortable and everyone I encountered there was as nice as they could be. It was a blessing to find Dr. Davis!

Impossible to reach anyone by phone for an appointment or advice, promises to get follow-up calls not kept, and bizarre advice from on call message takers advising to see other unrelated doctors when trying to reach my NWPC PCP.

Calling after hours doctors/advice nurses do not return calls.

Either hold times are irregularly long or when you aren't on hold you get hung up on, or you get a call back hours after you call in only to be hung up on by an automated system.

I can't imagine why I would ever come back to Northwest Primary Care. None of my previous doctor's offices nor my current ones have ever been so impossible to reach. I even tried logging into my online account in hopes that I could book an appointment that way and reach out to my doctor with a message that way, but was unable to do that or get a hold of anyone to help me do that.

This is absolutely abhorrent service and very frustrating for folks tryibg to get medical care. And unfortunately this isn't the first time with Northwest primary Care where I haven't been able to get a hold of someone or no one has communicated back to me when I asked for communication back.

This is the absolute worst clinic I have ever been too. Liars rude cannot keep appointments.

My partner has been going here for a few years. And they take real good care of him. Very nice people and they listen to the Patient.
Very nice place. Glad we found such a nice dr.
