Ocean Front Motel, Seaside OR

I will never stay at this hotel again! 500+ dollars a night to have a remote that didn’t work a window that wouldn’t stay up! Room was hot and had a little fan that we couldn’t even prop up in the window to use … we had to use a cardboard box to prop it up.for the price there should have been better accommodations.i don’t recommend this hotel to anyone

I was visiting from Phoenix Arizona and stayed in this motel for 2 nights. Our room was on the first level overlooking the sidewalk and beach which got a lot of traffic. The black out curtain was present but no sheer curtain to allow for some privacy while retaining a view. My attempt to have the situation resolved was met in an unorganized and unprofessional manner. The front desk employee told me he didn’t know what the rooms looked like when I attempted to explain what was lacking. He said he would get back to me but I had a feeling he wouldn’t so I approached a maid to ask if all the rooms were without this sheer curtain and she told me no only ours. The front desk employee had watched me go speak with the maid and then decided to show me a vacant room but had no authority to swap us out. Then called me during breakfast to say he couldn’t give me the room he showed me but another. I said at this rate we are gone for the day and our trip is half over so just provide some sort of discount. He never called back as he stated he would. Upon check out a different front desk employee said the request for a discount was denied but indicated she would try to appeal again and call me back. What kind of lodging has you on a first level with no sheer curtain? This lodging was $221 a night and we weren’t comfortable having the room completely exposed so our time spent in the room was with the black out curtain closed. Very poor customer service and won’t be back.

Clean, comfortable and amazing views of the ocean! Service was excellent. Walking distance to everything downtown Seaside has to offer. Room was quiet and the fan placed in the window for cooling worked well on the warm evening. Next time, we'll get the corner room for double the view!

Our experience at Oceanfront was amazing. The view was gorgeous. The staff was so welcoming.
Our car broke down in the parking lot after check out. The staff were all so helpful and made sure we were ok. I recommend staying here. It was so nice. I loved the time we spent here. Tracie and Marc B.

Awesome location, right on the promenade and next door to the aquarium. Staff was very accommodating. Room was a little small, but had a great view of the beach. I will stay there again if I ever get the chance to return to Seaside!

This place has a LOT of lipstick on it. I recomend paying a bit more and staying at one of the many hotels at the beach in seaside. Walls are paper thin, electic radiator which is super old and dirty makes loud noises, fan in bathroom needs replacing. Clerk at desk is the girl who cleans the room and really struggled to check us in (not her fault) owner was away but in my opinion that is just really bad business We waited over half hour to try to get checked in. Rooms had no soap so back to desk for that. Amazing location but this old motel has seen its day and lipstick can not cover that.

A good ocean front motel. Rooms were decent inside. Outside looks a little old and parking lot atmosphere made us question our choice when we pulled in but staff was super awesome. (Lance was great for check in) and room was surprisingly updated inside. Beds were super hard but what hotel beds isn't.

Stayed here October 2022. Hopefully it continues to be a well well kept secret on the coast. Very clean, very courteous accommodating staff. Beautiful beach view! The only thing that separates this place from the beach is a sidewalk. Loved it. Returning this summer

Check in was quick and easy. Got in around 8pm, very friendly staff. The rental had two beds, a queen in a room. With an ocean front view, and a queen in a separate room facing the parking lot. Bathrooms were small but fine. Worst parts of the stay were the towels were not very absorbent and the bed sheets were pretty thin. Also noted that the rooms havld a box fan, but seems to lack a proper air conditioning unit, so may be pretty hot during the warmer months.

The worst place to go. They scam extra money from your credit card. No one really answers the phone and the maintenance on the property is poor. The ice machine even had dirt in the ice chunks. Spend a little extra and save your self

The people, the view, the room, and the price can not be beat we had a wonderful time.sunset views out of the window was absolutely fabulous!

Nice clean rooms. No doors are going out from room to ocean front, but has nice views from the widows. Short walk around the building.

The exterior of the building is decidedly "eh" but the actual room is cute, clean, roomie. Staff friendly. Ocean view and great location. Mini fridge and coffee machine in room. Would stay again.

Rooms are decent, not what we expected, but we have stayed in worse. Tv needs to be mounted up. Looking down at a TV is awful. We had ocean view, it was rainy so we stayed in until we got a break.over all without being petty. It was a great stay!

Was pleasantly surprised by this motel. The guy at check-in was super friendly and chatty. Our room was nicely decorated and had a great view of the ocean. We had coffee and everything else we needed in the room. It was so lovely to wake up and walk right by the ocean in the morning. Would highly recommend for a quick stay if you're passing through Seaside!

Cheap, clean and you can’t beat the ocean view. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying here

Looks are deceiving, seems old but the room was breath taking and the view stunning. Great service and they are very accommodating. Will go back and recommend to others.
