Off The Griddle, Portland OR

Very good food. We enjoyed ourselves very much. I would choose to sit outside in the future as it is quite loud inside. I would definitely eat inside if the weather were bad. In the future I would just wait for an outside table weather permitting.

The best vegan brunch! Enjoyed a weekday brunch on the patio. Great savory waffle (The Feast) but that breakfast burrito…let me tell you! That’s the reason I’ll be back. So tasty! All menu options are default vegan but you can sub in eggs and there are GF options for most items.

Best vegan biscuits and gravy I have ever had. So I forgot I don't like bloody Mary's so I can't say it was good because I was dumb. But the service was great, the waitress gave honest reviews. The cocktails were good. The cheesy fries were good. Great vegan queso! I hope they do nachos or Totts because the fries lost composure under the cheese.

The biscuits and gravy are incredible here. Also some of the best coleslaw - not sweet like a lot are. Would give more stars if I could.

The staff are professional efficient and friendly- it is so refreshing in Portland. Customer service is a joke in Oregon but this place gets a solid tip from me every time. I have celiac and some scary allergies and they are always so kind to confirm my order which makes my anxiety go almost to zero! THANKYOU

Such yummy vegan food and huge portions. Everyone I saw was getting to-go containers. The service was quick and extra friendly. I will return many times to try everything on the menu.

I really like this place even though I'm not vegetarian or vegan. You can get dishes with eggs and dairy cheese but otherwise is all vegetarian or vegan. Really good jam with the biscuits so if your food doesn't come with jam get a side of it if you like strawberry. I like the iced coffee and free refills. My partner got the chorizo burrito that was super flavorful. Service is friendly and not too long a wait. We've been there a few times so these pics are other food we've gotten. Really you can't go wrong there and the cocktails are good too.

The BEST waffles in the whole wide WORLD! I don't get to visit very often but wow - what an incredible treat every single time!

Service was excellent. Food was decent, especially for the price. For vegans, this is a great choice.

Some of my non vegan friends enjoy vegan places, but I wouldn't bet on them going back a second time to this one.

Tap water doesn't taste good at all. Worst I've experienced at a restaurant. Decided to get a soda, but they added ice that's obviously from tap. Didn't drink the water or soda due to taste.

Delicious vegan brunch options. We make a point of coming here when in town. Today, our server, Ris, went out of her way to help with an order request - much appreciated!

Perhaps short staffed, the waitress was less than friendly and was slow to acknowledge customers. Also, nobody came to check if my food was even ok or if I maybe wanted anything else. Just "would you like a box" since it's clear I'm done eating.

The person who’s working the counter was really nice and helpful, however, i did find hair in my food in multiple places which is incredibly unsanitary and mortifying.

I really love it here. The food is great and the staff is lovely. The outdoor seating is spacious, covered, and dog friendly. There really needs to be an improved system for this those who arrive before opening though, especially when things get unexpectedly busy. Today I arrived at 15 minutes to open so I could get in and out with just myself and 2 pups before the heat set in. I was third to arrive and third to be seated but watched as countless other large groups and families were given water, beverages, and their orders taken. Again I love it here but it’s really frustrating to watch any number of large groups also then receive and finish their meals, have their tables bussed, cleaned, and resat while I was there before all of them.

Great place for vegan and vegetarian foods, very nice and knowledgeable staff, wide range of meal options a must if you are looking for a cool relaxing place and are in Portland.
