Oh's Osaka, Medford OR

We joined a table with 2 other couples and they had been waiting over a hour. We all got out soup and salad together after 30 minutes. 1 waitress and she was over worked but very nice. They had 8 cooking sections and only 2 chefs. It was every slow and the chef was sloppy and but tried his best. I have never been to a restaurant that cooked in front of you so this was different. I like it, the food was great but needed bigger portions of steak, shrimp other main dishes. 1 of the couples were nice but was comparing this restaurant to another and very loudly saying they wouldn't be coming back and will leave a bad review.
The only thing that really got me was the bathroom. No lock on the stalls in the women's and the TP dispenser was broken but had 2 wooden pegs screwed in the top to hold the TP rolls, no paper towels to dry hands and the floor was sticky. We told our chef and the waitress went and mopped the floor but put no signs out or used a dry mop so a gal almost fell in there.
But all in all, my date and I had fun and enjoyed our dinner and time together. Because of the food and their special blue drink, I would go again but would bring a book or card game to pass the time till our chef starts cooking.

If you want just dinner and no show this is the place to go! Aside from the dinner being very oily, flavor was good. Not sure I will return.

Foods good, but the service is a little slow because they only have one server but other than that, it's great!

I have never written a review in my life and I have to say this is positively the worst experience I've ever had the waitress was very nice and sweet and the food was good but I felt very insulted and got a lot of fat comments fron the chef as everyone laughed around the table it was a very horrible experience I cried a lot afterwards I will never be going back again. I would get a 0 star if I could seriously seriously insulting a customer right in front of everyone it's just such a childish thing.

Such an awesome experience! Everyone was so friendly and made the whole experience a good one. We even met a couple from Louisiana at our table. The drinks were the cherry on top! That bartender knows how to make a real drink! They were tasty and had a good alcohol content which did make me hate paying for it. Make a reservation if you don't want to wait!

You come to Oh's Osaka for the experience and the food. If you come here with expectations to get sit down quick, get your drinks and food quick, and dip out in an hour, then go to a different restaurant because you will be disappointed. I love coming here because the atmosphere is chill, the wait staff are awesome, the chefs are nice, the have gluten free options, and they cook your gluten free food separately from the rest. I personally don't eat gluten free but my sister does and that's one reason why she loves coming here. The last time we went we were seated with a mom and daughter and by the end of the dinner they were practically like family while me and my sister were singing the Lone Pine Wildcats School song because the daughter was going to school at Lone Pine. I did find out recently that Mr. Oh started selling his amazing salad dressing, so be sure to buy it when you dine in next time. I do highly recommend getting the steak and chicken option when ordering.

Went in to Oh’s and had dinner, the Cook that cooked for us was very entertaining and interacted with customers at the grill. Had a good time and strong drinks. A must try at least once.

Oh's for OHHHHH my God this place is horrible. The food and entertainment USED to be mediocre, now it's simply OH.trocious! They could not even bother to ask us if we wanted a seat after 10 minutes waiting. And it was DEAD. Adios OHmigo!

My wife and I joined another 2 people, hoping for a fun dinning experience and decided to go for dinner at Osaka's. Apparently you have to make a reservation but if you call before they open no one will answers the phone. We called while standing in line at the front door as well with other customers waiting. After being let inside we waited for another 20 minutes before we were seated (They had to set up everything). While sat down it tool another 15 minutes to get our waters and menus. Another 20 minutes for someone came and took our food and drink order. After the drinks showed up we waited some more time for the cook to arrive. So we have been there an hour and the food is finally being cooked and served. After the meal was done we were not asked if we wanted dessert. It took 25 minutes to receive our check and then waiting another 15 minutes we decided to get up and go go to the register at the bar and waited another 10 minutes for someone to check us out. After this trip we will not return.

Although the service is often quite slow, the sushi is very good. Mr Oh's roll is absolutely delicious!

Went there with a group of 5 for a birthday dinner. The food and service was amazing! I would definitely recommend Oh's, and we will be back!

Went for my friends birthday celebration and we had so much fun, enjoying the teppanyaki experience! Real nice people and they let us sake bombs!

Came here with a large group for a birthday dinner. The location has moved since the last time I was here several years ago. When we showed up they had one table seated filling out the whole grilling area. But it was really slow to get seated and drinks and ordered. The way staff mentioned that they were low on people so everything took a lot longer than you would expect, like I had to flag somebody down to get a drink of water. On the other hand the food was fantastic the meal was a huge portion and reasonably priced and cooked in front of you. I would come back again

I cannot begin to describe how excellent my meal was, I forgot what good sushi taste like I will 100% recommend oh’s Osaka, friendly opening atmosphere and excellent customer service top-notch food for an extremely reasonable price.

I called to make a reservation earlier this week for a birthday dinner at OH's for tonight at 5: 00 but when scheduling they said 5: 30 would be best to accommodate our group. We arrived at 5: 30 tonight to be told that they had us down for 6: 00. I believe what really happened was that they double booked two parties and didn't have the staff to accommodate. The host was full of excuses but no apologies. She did say she would seat us as soon as she could, and she did about 10-15 min later. Once we were seated we waited 30 minutes and no one had checked on us at all for those 30 minutes, not even for drinks. Once 40+ minutes had past by we decided to leave and it wasn't until most of our party was down the ramp that they had said someone was on their way to take our drink order!
I get it, lots of places are short staffed right now because people don't want to get back to work but in this difficult time don't forget that clear communication and ownership goes a long way. We learned our lesson, and that was that there's no place like Shojis.

Chef was very nice. Place was not clean. There was grease dripping from the hoodvents. Due to not cleaning. Wasn't the best around.

Great experience. The chef did an amazing job! Cooked the steak perfectly along with the shrimp. Good drinks. Good atmosphere. Definitely will be going back. Now that I found a hibachi place in Southern Oregon.

Have been going there for years but tried to call in an order and was told to call back that she was really busy. Right now on my way to Shojis instead!

Very bad service. Also we tried ordering sushi and the waitress went into the back and was arguing very loudly with kitchen staff on who would make it. We ended up leaving.
