The only reason I am giving this place anything more than a one star review it because of the pricing. Other than that this place is a absolute joke in complete waste of time anything that you need done here will take absolutely forever and they easily forget about you as a patient and force you to have to contact them directly, which is a complete hassle. Save yourself the frustration and see a regular dentist for the most simplest things. You will be stuck here waiting for care.

Getting services at this place is very very tough. Seems Like there is quite confusion and is not stream line as it should be. My treatment started in 2022 and now it's 2023 but I am still waiting to get the services I signed for. Awful.

Resident orthodontist Ryan Thrower omitted appointments from my clinic notes and downplayed her struggles with bonding for almost a year, thereby limiting progress and drawing out the course of treatment.

It was awful how patient advocate Zoie Newman handled the situation. She had the audacity to warn me of the “very serious allegation” I was making against Dr. Thrower for falsifying records. Zoie hung up on me multiple times, seemingly out of impatience. She was dodgy responding to emails. She would be lazy and call instead, conducting discussion with little nuance. She only wanted to concentrate her efforts on brokering a partial refund. She actually said the words “I think you should take the deal” when there was no consideration of how terrible a choice it was to go to OHSU in the first place.

I first showed up not long before the pandemic and my last appointment was in June of 2022, but I’m still missing a front tooth after all this time. The orthodontics was only a first step towards getting an implant (due to crowding). No one at the school expressed urgency, let alone did they recognize my urgency to get this done.

Director Freedman treated me like a poor person trying to get one over on the school. He smugly apologized for my dissatisfaction with the “customer service” I received. But the partial refund, which was tacky after witnessing Freedman's uppity attitude, wasn’t much to pay for treatment at a private clinic.

If you’re thinking of going to OHSU, go there for a cleaning. If you’re thinking of going there for anything more complicated, you may run into inexperience, deception, and maybe even flippancy from a bourgeois faculty that is too proud of its little club.

To be frank I'm tired of waiting on OHSU, I have been waiting for a call back for over 6 months on a referral, I have called many times, and have been sitting on hold for well past 30 minutes every time. It got to the point where I asked my main dentist office to get me another referral just to make sure it got through, however it’s been almost a month since then now and I haven’t received one call from them.

I had a wisdom tooth extraction here, the doctor told me I can't get sweaty or work out for 4 days but then they wont give me a doctors note for my job, which is a very active and physical job. I was told different things by different poeple which is so frustrating, I dont know weather or not its okay for me to go to work the next couple of days because of the contracting information i was given

Shocking this school receives 25 million dollars in government subsidies annually and seems to only do routine cleaning for 300 dollars a pop. Everyone envoled with this organization should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. Should not be advertised as a low income option, and should not receive tax payer dollars.
