Olive Garden Italian Restaurant, Portland OR

I’ve been in the service industry for over ten years and I know how to give good service and what poor service looks like. Every time I go in to the Mall 205 Olive Garden their staff is incredibly rude, inconsiderate and lazy. No one goes above and beyond and it’s just sad to watch so many employees not take pride in their jobs. I’ve tried to make many to-go orders at this location and they keep me on hold for 15 plus minutes and don’t even accommodate things such as subbing out a soup for a salad choice. This is again after the fact I waited on hold for 15 minutes then had to call them back! Just to be put on hold for another 5 then it took 10 for her to put the order in the computer. We won’t be back and the final occurrence that finalized this happened was on Sunday 09/12/2021 around 7: 30 pm. They need to get it together.

I've always loved this way to salad and bread sticks they got bomb- food this was a late night my daughter is pregnant and wanted some soup visit and got her some chicken and dumplings that was super good you should give it a shot

Carside delivery was great, employees were prompt and friendly. Only minor issue was the trees in the parking lot can block some of the signs, so it can be kind of hard to see which slot you’re in.

It's always good to come to eat at Olive Garden, I came with my family and we had a feast. The person who attended us was very friendly.

Went to OG last night for the first time since I’ve been in Oregon. Service was fantastic! Alex was extremely attentive and helpful when ordering, as my company had not been to an Olive Garden in over two decades. Food came out hot and in a timely manner. We will gladly be back.

When my coworker and I went we had amazing food and the service was so amazing our waiter took his time and talked to us not at us I would definitely go back just for the service and conversation and because I love pasta

I was so disappointed! I am a new widow and attempting to dine alone. My first attempt was a disaster, I boxed up my food and took it home. Going to Olive Garden I was determined to make this work. I knew what I was going to order, knew what I was drinking and was excited that I was trying this again.
The hostess asked "just" one? Yes "just" one. I really don't like that. They're expecting more people to follow. I was seated. She actually commented on the fact cozy booth in the corner. Why am I in the corner, so no one can see I'm "just" one?
1,2,3 waitresses past me. Never a word not even a glass of water. Other parties came and were seated. Their drinks brought, still nothing. I know I was seen, after awhile the waitresses weren't even coming to my side of the room. After waiting patiently for 20 minutes I got up, went to the front hostess and told her I was leaving with no service, not even a nod to express that I existed.
I know the waitresses work and look for tips. One person is not going to leave the tip that a full table is going to leave. But I am still human and would of left a tip according to the price of my meal and my service. Does that make me any less of a person? I'm sorry I'm "just" one! I will not be returning to this Olive Garden and am working hard on deciding if dining alone is really an option.

Service was a bit disappointing as were left to wait a long time and people seated after us in the same section (two tables, same sever) were getting their orders taken and drinks well before we did. We went for lunch and ordered off the lunch section but after getting our bill we realised our server gave us the dinner items at double the price (same item, only the dinner ones are a large portion I think) our meals came out before the appetisers as well.

Also when received the check the suggested gratuity is incorrect on the receipt, so definitely do the math yourself. I am giving four stars though because the manager took one off the appetisers off because of the way everything came out. The food was pretty good in the end.

Ben was absolutely fantastic. Kyle was fanomninal as well. Food was excellent, exactly what we asked for. Drinks were full and bread sticks were always fresh. The manager even gave our daughter grapes and was checking with every table to make sure thing were running smoothly. I would always recommend coming to this location because they are just that amazing. Thank you olive garden, your management and servers. You work an under appreciated job but you all were fantastic. Thank you again so much

My family always comes here and Unfortunately today we did not get any service. We waited about 30 mins to be seated which was fine. Got to our seats and sat there for a good 15-20 mins. No one came to greet us. Two other people came after us and got greeted right away and got food before we did. When we got up to leave finally someone notice and ask if we have been helped yet and offer to order our food but Unfortunately at this time I just wanted to leave. Very disappointed I never experienced this before. Not sure if I wanted to go back to this location.

10 stars for the service of the folks there working on a really busy night. The take out desk was managing a ton of orders, half their parking was being re-paved, a lot of calls and intake at the entry, and a few customers holding up the line. I think everyone got fed. Even the most hangry.

The lady that helped us was very polite. They were quick at making the food and bringing it out to us when they said they would.
The food was amazing as well!

1 star only be cause I can't do negative 5 stars! Horrible! Waited 20 min to be seat which was fine but 20 more minutes after we got seated for nothing. No waitress no nothing while everyone seated after us got service right after they got seated. When they got there food we just got up and left because my kids where hungry. As we leave they asked us if we wanted anything to go. Wth!

We try to come here Sundays after Church. The food is always good, the service is to die for. You can't leave not full and feeling like you're special.

I came here w/ my mother and sis for a nice lunch. It has been a few years since I've eaten at an Olive Garden. It hasn't changed and that's a good thing. Great food, nice dining. The staff is very friendly. We enjoyed our bartender/ waiter. He was very pleasant and patient with us. We will be back soon!

Tonight my fiance and I took our dear friends to the Mall 205 Olive Garden and it was fantastic! Of course the food was amazing but our service was impeccable. Our server's name was Paulo A. This man deserves a raise. Lately I have noticed a serious decline in customer service everywhere I go, however not with Paulo. He is an example of excellent customer service. Thank you for the awesome dining experience!

Paulo, who was our our server today at this location, made our dinning experience- 5star Friendly! You don’t find customer service like that nowadays.
