I just purchased a home that was remodeled by Olson & Jones. The quality of their work is amazing. I don't write reviews very often but their work definitely warrants a note. Their work was so good that the home inspector had a tough time finding anything wrong. I've been in the home a few months now and still am amazed that the quality of their work. I would highly recommend them.

In 2009 I had a major home renovation done by Olson and Jones and was very extremely satisfied with both the quality of their work and their responsiveness. This summer I needed to have a few unusual items taken care of at my home (including replacement of a rotted corbel 30 feet from the ground), so I telephoned the first and only company I would trust to do work on my home. Olson and Jones is not a fly-by-night company that promises something inexpensive and then may or may not deliver a substandard product. I have no hesitation whatsoever to recommend this quality company.

The Team at Olson & Jones remodeled our condo in Portland. The project turned out beautifully, on time, and on budget. Jeff Jones is a phenomenal project manager and spends your money wisely.

These guys were amazing to work with. Their communication is open and honest. The people they have working for them were all incredibly professional and talented.
From the very beginning, their team went to lengths I had never experienced to ensure that I was prepared for the project. They treated my home as if it were a palace (it's not, but I appreciated the effort, even for a construction site!) and I was given the utmost respect. It was never difficult to get ahold of anyone working, and I was given regular (sometimes even daily) updates on the project.
The project stayed on time and on budget and I felt like I'd lucked out with some of the most professional contractors in the area! I would HIGHLY recommend anyone at Olson & Jones for any project you may have! I'll be a regular customer myself from here on out for any of my properties in the greater Portland area.

Careful using these guys! My neighbor had them working on her house for months. Some time into the project My house got robed in a very specific timeframe, leading me to believe that someone had been casing my house from that project. If they can not control there subs or themselves then I find them at fault. Again.be careful using these guys!

We hired Olson & Jones in 2016 to redo a bathroom and install insulation in the attic. When I found out they were 'partnered' with Energy Trust of Oregon I requested that they do an energy audit on our house. Being that we already had new attic insulation as an aspect of the job, and there were potential energy credits for our project, we thought this was a no-brainer. Between the bathroom remodel that took too long, the mistake in the shower pan (twice!), and the terrible communication, I cannot recommend this company. They were not qualified at that time to handle any energy work. I had to tell them over and over again what we wanted and to use Energy Trust of Oregon. However, they didn't even perform the proper report and didn't follow up with EOT, which would have gotten us the energy credit. In the end the shower turned out well, the walls they patched were sloppily finished (pin holes in the spackle, rough and not paint ready), the flooring was done well and the insulation went fine. My biggest complaints: the poor communication, the cost (over 15K for a light bathroom remodel and insulation and vents) and their inability to work with ETO. Even though we knew we had a small project and tried to be accommodating in our schedule, it really felt like the management didn't care.

We had a series of energy-efficiency projects done on our home through the CEWO program, as well as some extras we had been wanting. Olson & Jones' contractors were extremely professional through the whole thing. They walked us through everything they were planning to do and made sure we understood it all, patiently answering all of our questions and modifying the projects according to our needs and desires. Once the work began, they were highly considerate of our schedule, kept disturbances to a minimum, and most important of all they did excellent work on everything. They had excellent follow-up once the project was completed as well. All in all, I highly recommend Olson & Jones and will be calling them first for any contracting I need done in the future.
