4Omni is a fantastic test lab to use when it comes to both safety and emissions testing on heating appliances. I have tested with them for years, and their level of knowledge is impressive. They don't test a vast variety of products, but that is also their strength because their focus is on heating appliances, which in turn allows them to really know what they are doing, especially when it comes to EPA requirements.
Excellent company to work with for the safety and emissions testing of wood stoves and fireplace inserts. We have used OMNI-Test Laboratories for over 20 years and have been impressed with their integrity and attention to detail.
This "IDK my name" person's review doesn't appear to be very valid. OMNI's website states what there scope of accreditation is, and to what standards they certify products to.all of this is very easily found by just looking at the website.
