OnPoint Community Credit Union reviews
15 Cashier was from a different branch, and the other tellers trying to help her were absolutely rude and disrespectful to me, basically telling me I was lying and that the multiple times Ive done a specific transaction it was a “manager override”. Disgusted with the service of this location ever since the pandemic started. Will never come back to this branch again and am seriously considering closing my account with onPoint.
I came to onPoint because they’re supposed to be nicer than banks and treat you like a family, but at any point when I come to this location I leave disgusted with the service.
I WILL be closing my account with this credit union due to the way their workers treat you.
Stay away from this location unless you want to leave feeling like you’re absolutely stupid!
They fined me and closed my account for the post office supposedly returning mail back to them that they had sent me. However they admit I gave them the correct address, after hours on the phone and threathening to put all the recordings I have with them on youtube, they gave me a credit but I had to reapply for an account all over again. Avoiding these people in my opinon is the best thing you can do.
Love this branch! Always friendly always helpful! ! Smiling faces and cheery attitudes really make the difference! Not only are they kind they are great at helping you through your banking questions!
Kimberly helped us with Medallion stamps, account beneficiary forms and life insurance beneficiary.
She was the last employee out the door Saturday at 1: 45pm closing was 1 pm
Rock star customer service
They have always been helpful. We have several accounts and now MORTGAGE with them. They also helped me buy a used car 7 years ago.
Nice folks at this branch. We followed Amber over from her old location. She is now the manager of this location (proud of her). Her and her staff are always smiling and are friendly folks to work with. Since opening our account with Onpoint in 2009, we have since had a Mortgage, HELOC, a few car loans and even a business vehicle loan with our business account there. Every transaction was easy and well explained. Keep the good work. It's nice that Amber knows who we are and we aren't treated like a "customer" but like someone she knows and cares about.
Everyone has been very friendly and helpful, I feel I can really build a relationship with the people here. The credit limits and how easy it was to get approved was multiple steps over Chase which has been holding me back for years. Onpoint is just easy to deal with and has a very wide range of products to fit your needs. Highly recommended.
Been a member for over 20 years. They are great people, always fast and friendly, unlike the big banks.
Excellent service, trying to balance out the circumstantial 1 star reviews. Its a great bank everyone knows that thats why it has grown so much in the last few years.
I wanted a dispute on my debit card which can be used as credit card. All they said is" we cnt do anything, thats our policy". I lost $500 on ebay to get an unworking tablet, they dont protect their custumers, all they want is money to their bank. Suck
These guys have the lowest interest car loans I can find. Have used them for 12 years. Couldn't be happier.
On point is the best im thankful my parents started a savings account for me 24 years ago ive never experince such great service from any other bank.
And to the ebay girl, when you make a perchase on ebay like that and the item is faulty you take that up with ebay not your bank, maybe you ahould use paypal next time instead of your personal account.
The reviews below are based in lies. Onpoint takes care of their members and is very lenient on returns for online mistransactions and overdraft fees. If these people are saying that Onpoint denied them it's because they themselves yelled or cursed at them and wouldn't be civil or polite at all. Banking with a credit union gives you greater flexibility and freedom and control of your money. It gives you greater interest on savings accounts and no delays or penalties for withdrawing your money compared to a bank. As an Onpoint member since 2009, I am very happy with them.
Ultimately caused us to lose our home after over-drafting us for a $48 difference on our space rent that they didn't even cover. My wife's pay is direct deposited for 4 years now & they wouldn't cover a $48 deficit on a $560 check.treated us like gypsies.
I have one continuing complaint about OnPoint. Service sucks! Should you require assistance and cannot get to your branch and don't already have the number for a current (they move constantly) employee, forget about getting service unless you are willing to spend min 20-40 minutes waiting on the phone, being blasted by nonstop adds for additional services. And you cannot call at anytime, just during PST times they designate. So if you have to travel, and also happen to work, forget about getting any prompt service. I would be reluctant to encourage anyone to jump into an account here without completing your own due diligence. Even after I get connected to a person, they are as likely to put me back on hold. After waiting for 40 minutes, if you need to get off for another call, then you automatically start the cycle over again.
