4 This is a review of DHS in its role to protect abused children.
And just this: there is likely NO THRESHOLD of psychological abuse (brain-washing/domination) any of them have training to recognize. They’re FAR MORE LIKELY to believe and side with the abuser. Don’t call them until your children are free of their abuser, especially if the abuser is their mother.
If you call to report emotional/psychological abuse, don’t let them see if you have any knowledge of psychology; they will resent it. Don’t tell the most abusive incidents, they won’t believe them. Choose minor abuses, which they routinely use to justify prosecution. Most of all, assume they’re cowards and man-haters. They’re not all cowards and misandrists, but enough where it’s a safe assumption. Get your kids safe by any means before you call, men. They WILL NOT acknowledge alienation by a mother. They’d rather separate them from you and send you to jail. I promise.
If they miraculously decide to confer with you after your report, assume they’re looking for any reason to get the kids back to their abusive mom. Be polite and dumb and they might respect that maybe, in this rare instance, a dad can be a caring parent.
Yes, I hate these people. They enable abuse. And if they were blind to in my case, they’re entirely blind to it.
Clackamas county is allowing a known drug addict who admitted to using fentanyl around his one year old son to keep him after he stole him from his mothers care when he has no legal rights to him instead of returning him back to his mother who he has been with since birth do better cps!
Unprofessional. God forbid you should try to file a complaint you get stuck in the menus and transferred and hung up on a spent 20 plus minutes on the phone trying to file a complaint of unprofessionalism and not having a child's welfare in their best interest. Which is pretty hilarious cuz that's their whole entire job instead we've got some men here who don't care about children they just want to be buddies with the dads that are abusive.
