I had wanted to post without any stars. Having just moved here from central Oregon, and because of the Covid lock down, I had to wait to make an appointment with a new cardiologist. During the interim I had run out of medication. I told this to the check in nurse. She did not communicate that to the doctor. It had also been over a year since I had blood work. The doctor did not schedule any. They did however want me to have a Echo-cardiogram and that was scheduled. However, when I called the day before the appointment to cancel, their phone system does not allow for leaving voice messages and i did not think it appropriate to bother the Doctor on call just to cancel an appointment. When I called back the next day to cancel, it was too late. During that call, I asked for the Doctor's nurse and got her voice mail. I reminded her that I did not have any medication nor have I had blood work in over a year. It has now been over a month since my initial appointment. I still do not not medication - but I feel great anyway. I also do not know my cholesterol numbers. I WILL be going elsewhere.

Hughes specialized in not doing her job. She was rude, painfully ignorant about medical matters. Told me a test I’d taken didn’t exist (I sent her copies) said my symptoms had nothing to do with my heart- they do. I went to a plain old MD & was diagnosed with A-fib. Maybe she’ll practice medicine instead of arrogance someday. But I doubt it.

I was just seen by Dr. Krishnamurthy- a real doctor. He was caring, patient & helpful. He gave me hope, instead of insults. Maybe dr Hughes could follow him around & learn how to act like an adult.

Getting a call back is close to impossible - even before C-19. Might be a time to hire more professionals and front desk?

I love this place. It looks like all the Heart Doctors in Salem, Or.got together and are now practicing under this one office that by the way is huge. I got exvellent service. I would derrintly return.

I called today to schedule an appointment and the assistant was friendly and helpful and was able to schedule the appointment and answer any questions that I had.

Maybe the worst staff I have ever seen in the medical field and poor numeric tone response in phone menu. I have tried calling back more than five times, I recorded the last call so I can put it on youtube if they try to bill me.

So, I call them, the menu says push 2 for etc.but when I push 2 it adds another 2 and says 22 is not an option.

I push zero frantically to get a rep, I finally get one and tell her what is going on, she tells me pushing zero is not an option, I tell her I know, but its like my words mean nothing to her, says she will transfer me and hangs up, I call back go through the same nightmare, she says she will leave a message and hangs up.

Now for the reason I called, it was to cancel an appointment I had already canceled a week ago but they didn't write it down, and gave me an auto call at 7pm reminding me of the canceled appointment. I totally do not recommend getting involved with these people unless you want more stress in your life!

Last February, I had to have a stint inserted. Dr. Gahlili was fantastic. Followup appointments were fine.

We absolutely love Dr. Gahlili; he has kept my 86 year old mom alive these last ten years. He is just awesome.

My Wife and I were patients with the Oregon Heart Center for the last couple of years and met with Dr. Saha and Dr. Fedor on three occasions in the past year.

They were three of the worst experiences as patients we have ever experienced! Horrible care, zero preparation and studying charts before appointments, and very bad provider-to-patient communication.

Dr. Fedor met with us once and walked out mid appointment because he said there was nothing he could do for us. We asked for additional tests and wanted to have a more thorough conversation abkut our health and he refused to and made it seem like it was a waste of time. Raised his voice, challenged the symptoms that we were explaining to him, and flat out told us he would refuse to do anything further with us. The worst behavior I have ever experienced with a health professional!

Dr. Saha failed to review health data and medical notes before appointments and would routinely talk down to my wife and I when we would try to describe our health experiences. We would need to continue the conversations with him otherwise he would try to leave in 5 mins to the next appointment.

Both provided us with zero effort to try and help us through our health issues that had us sent to their office in the first place. Will never go there again! Highly recommend not seeing either of these doctors for your health needs and being very hesitant before going to the Oregon Health Center.

Doc Fedor looked at my repeat abnormal blood pressure that I have been having ever since he started me on a new medication and said there was nothing he could do and he wasn't sure why I had made an appointment. I pointed to my 155/138 blood pressure Spikes that I have been having daily and on the low end 90/72. Every day I'm having these spikes and drops and he tells me there is nothing he can do. Don't waste your time here if you are under 80. They tell you that you're too young for heart problems and don't care for you at all.
