My story is too long to give a brief review so I'll skip a bunch of it. In a nutshell, they are never able to refill prescriptions, literally every time Bimart pharmacy put in the order I had to call Oregon Neurology and complain 2-3 times before they refilled. Sometimes it would take a week for them to reply.fyi these are ANTI SEIZURE DRUGS! You can't just go without them. Multiple times a trip to the ER was required because pre seizure symptoms kicked in. Save yourself.literally, don't go here if you have a choice and save your life or your exposure to high risk inept healthcare. 0 stars.

1 star is generous. Was first referred to Camille for migraines, numbness, electrical shocks, tingling, etc. She refused to speak to me about anything besides migraines. She didn't care that I was suffering and had been unable to work for weeks. She told me to get a different referral. It also took a couple of months to get a PA for my Emgality shots. This was a video conference, as was our second visit where she informed me she would be leaving (YAY!).

So I was referred to Dr. Herring. He was shocked that Camille hadn't met with me in person to do a basic neurological assessment and found neurological deficit patterns. An MRI was ordered of my neck which found several issues. It took an hour waiting in the exam room for him to arrive. He next ordered an x-ray to see if my neck was stable, or if I would need my neck fused. I got my x-ray done and was shocked to learn that I would have to wait over 2 months to get the results. So, either my neck is like a slinky or it's good enough to start physical therapy, but I won't get the go ahead for 2 months. Who knows how things could potentially progress in that time, as well as all the time I miss from work. I had to cut back to 4 days a week months ago, but still miss additional days. 4 days in the last 2 weeks. But I can pay a $250 copay for the ER doctors to think I am drug searching.

In the meantime I continue to suffer and miss out on work (62 days missed last year). I've missed 4 days in the last 2 weeks. Go to the ER they say. I'm having to go to my PCP for increased pain meds and muscle relaxers. We're now trying trigger point injections. But don't bother calling them they said when I got them to send a note back to him. I called on Monday and heard back from them on Thursday. Sorry, see you in August. Going to get my records from them and Oregon Imaging and hoping to find an independent neurologist even if I have to go out of town. It would take them 2 minutes to look at the x-ray and say if I can exercise or not.

I pray to God I can find someone else because I have absolutely no confidence left in them. I will go back for my results in August if nothing else works out, but I won't trust their opinion, especially if I need surgery. Or physical therapy. Buyer beware. I also work at a place where we get asked for suggestions for doctors. They will get an earful if they ask about Neurologists. They have no care for people's quality of life.

I went insane Neurologist Mark herring A Neurologist I have been having some bad headaches and it’s been going on for over a year nausea dizziness and multiple other issues and I wanted to give him some family history and the first thing that he said is that he didn’t want to hear about it that was a telltale sign right there told my doctor about it and we cut him loose. I do not recommend this place to anyone at least not that neurologist.

DR. Jessica Stachyra isn't very friendly or welcoming. And is all about surgery instead of listening and helping people with Epilepsy. First time we saw her and she didn't even examine my husband, test his reflexes, nothing, notta. Total waste of time! Once we said no to surgery she basically stopped listening, if she ever was. Find someone else who listens and cares about the patients. Cuz it was obvious when she stopped me from talking several times she didn't CARE!

The worst. Multiple times I had to wait months for an appointment for something important only to find out that my doctor wasn't in the day of or week of, and had to reschedule for months later with absolutely no contact. They just waited until I showed up. Wish I could give lower stars.

Horrible experience with the epidemiologist who was callous and made statements like "it will never get better. " She also ordered test to check his liver but never looked at them and he very quickly developed a toxic liver with a whole set of side effects besides the seizures. Also the seizure medication did not work. Their only tools are drugs and surgery.

Waiting about a month for an appointment, arrival early, total wait time in waiting room 1 hour, wait time in treatment room approaching 30 minutes and still no one.

Troublingly unprofessional.

I was told time start to finish for my appointment would not exceed two hours, I guess that was just the time I’d be waiting.

Would not use again, may have to reschedule when I have a full day open to devote to a 1 hour test.

I have been a patient for two decades. The level of service seems to be consistent, neither improving or worsening over that time.

The medical care seems to be adequate; but feels like no serious effort goes into my case, doing just enough to get by. I have waited for more than an hour past my scheduled appointment time, and the doctor is just reading my file as he enters the exam room, unprepared and hurried. I have seen a few doctors at this facility, and have exeprienced this from all.

I have to wait six months (minimum) between visits (not sue why), so as my disease (MS) progresses, I have no help to navigate. I've asked for more help, but there isn't anything available, I guess. I'm on my own.

Their office has lost or misplaced my contact phone numbers, so tele-health appointments have been missed and I haven't been notified of scheduling changes. They even called me, when trying to contact another patient, so I am not the only one experiencing this. Their staff acts like it's my fault of a missed appt, even after they are aware of telephone errors. Frustrating

Serious lack of compassionate care if you don't have an easy to solve neurological condition. I have had a myriad of neurological symptoms and nervous system dysfunction and have been under the care of Oregon Neurology Associates for one year now. I have had several visits here and all but one of them left me feeling worse than I felt when I came in. Dr. Mark Herring was dismissive and abrasive, often interrupting me and being so harsh when I made any suggestions, making every appointment with him a hurtful and non-productive. I asked the receptionist to be transferred and was sent to Dr. Michael Balm. My first visit with Dr. Balm was good and I was hopeful in getting the compassionate care Oregon Neurology Associates claims to provide, but during my second visit, Dr. Balm was dismissive and had claimed that he didn't know what he could do to help me.

I needed the results from my spinal tap GAD65 antibody that was previously positive at high levels and untreated, and he told me he could not find my results for that test. I politely informed him that my quality of life has been very poor and that I would appreciate the opportunity to try this treatment of immunosuppresion for these high antibodies that cause various neurological syndromes. This was during a telehealth visit and he said " You're talking over me, I'm ending this call now. Bye. "

He did not follow up on my two referrals, to OHSU and Neurosurgery for a herniated disc pushing on my spinal cord too much.

I called the office back and asked to file a complaint with the clinic manager. A fee days later I recieved an unspecified dismissal letter. When I called about it, I was told that my complaint to the clinic manager of Dr. Balms conduct was given to Dr. Balm himself to handle, and he chose to dismiss me without reason, and the clinic manager signed off on it. I have been without neurological care or follow up on my plan of care for 2 months now and have not recieved any thing from the clinic manager about my complaint.

I'm thinking justice needs to be served and the local news needs to be made aware of this awful treatment of community members with neurological conditions.

I had my first appointment this morning, the front office was professional and efficient, the nurses were friendly and made the check in process comfortable and easy. Dr. Clark was informative and compassionate. I felt heard and understood and now have a plan of action. I would highly recommend this place!

Awful place and awful policies. Don't see the doctors here. Completely incapable and arrogant to boot.

Go somewhere else for your health. Don't waste time and money here.

My wife and I went into the doctor's office and the first thing he asked my wife was where she was from. My wife is black and I don't know why he would ask where my wife is from. And started using stereotypes on where she is from. She wasn't even the patient. He also accused me of being rude for trying to use the restroom before he came to see me even though I waited in there for an hour. They didn't do anything to help, refused to see me anymore, told me to find another Dr after meeting my wife without providing me any help whatsoever and still charged a 50 dollar copay. They may have you wait over an hour and tell you that they no longer want to see you anymore. If you're black and you are from NJ they will ask you not to come back. He never said anything the first visit when my wife wasn't there. If you need help at all do not go to these doctors they are worthless.

The psychical therapists at Oregon Neurology are AMAZING. My physical therapist, Sierra, was ridiculously kind and incredibly mindful about listening to everything I had to say regarding my treatment. I cannot recommend Oregon Neurology enough! The new building is beautiful, the doctors are educated, and the reception staff is extremely nice.

This is a terrible office. You better like the first dr.or pa.you see or they kick you out of the practice. I've never experienced this in any other clinic. The wait time is very long with the doctors. These people are awful. The office manager is rude too. She treats you badly under these circumstances when you are really upset. I take medications I cannot stop and they don't care.

I was first seen Mar 2019, last seen Oct 2019. I will not go back. #1 reason, I was not treated respectfully or professionally by MOA during a time of crisis. When I reported this to the PA, she was unapologetic. #2 reason, during the 7 months I was a patient, I was seen by 4 different providers; 2 Doc's and 2 PA's

WON'T TAKE OUT OF STATE CLAIMS FOR MVA. Had me scheduled, showed up, filled out paperwork, only to tell me they had to cancel my appointment due to an out of state MVA. Wouldn't even take my private health insurance. They wasted my time. If I could give zero stars, I would.
