O'Reilly Auto Parts reviews
208/8/21 1pm: Was made to feel like a burden by their lazy cashier. Went in to buy everything to do my own oil changes at home. I had a lot of large and small items on my list and despite the store being nearly empty of customers I could not find a basket or cart to hold everything to take to the cash register and out to my car. But I did notice a shopping cart left in the aisle with two empty boxes and a third half full of oil filters (obviously someone was stocking shelves and left it there forgotten). So I emptied it next to the shelf and used it for my rather large purchase intending to return it back to where I found it once I was done. Upon approaching the register the checkout girl looked at the cart and groaned and went "hmmmmm" in a very disgusted look and muttered something about how I was not supposed to use their carts (for whatever reason which I could not distinguish). I told her i would be happy to put it back where I found it when I was done to which she responded with a large audible groan about how tired she was and wanted to go home. I received no friendly greeting or "thank you for shopping with us" or "come again". Nothing - just groans and complaints. I've never felt more like a burden for spending $123 dollars of my hard earned money at a retailer. I will NEVER come back to this store again.
They always have what I need. My favorite windshield wiper blades and many products to help my car look its best! Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Very good store, staff are super helpful. Went with batter issue, staff helped a lot tested both battery and alternator and helped with the right solution. Thank you so much appreciate all your help and support.
Been doing business with this store for years. They don't always have what you need but they get it. I do wish turnover rate seems high.
Sign on door says masks required, but employees were not wearing masks. Shelves not stocked. Permanent oil spill on floor. Cashiers make you feel uncomfortable, one grumpy and the other with bad joking.
O.k. Store. Nothing special. Brake shoes were cheaply made. Got my refund. Return the pad shoes. Cheap parts.
We stopped by to see if they could get codes on my husband's truck. His truck was too old but associate looked under the hood and helped my husband find the leak. He closed it for us and issue was resolved! Thank you Matthew!
Very poorly customer service this guys don't care abut clients berry uncomfortable I usually buy there not no more they have priorities whit friend shops only.
A abridge buyers dont even go there and good luck when ordering parts they say
cam and get them and guess what they don't have it not a serious place
. Anymore.
Nice pretty quick experience. Staff seemed a little all over the place but friendly and prices are ok, could be better could be worse!
Very disappointed with the customer support at this specific location in Aloha off of 185th and tv hwy.
Walked into the store this morning at around 8: 45 Thursday January 21st asking the store clerk for a universal coolant return system (coolant overflow bottle)
He simply responded back to me that they do not carry any such items. I then asked if they had any 150 amp circuit breakers with a built in reset switch. He simply responded back with the same response he had for the overflow bottle without even really checking.
I ended up leaving the store to look for these items at different companies (autozone, advanced auto parts, etc)
I ended up stopping at the oreillys in forest grove asking the store clerk the same exact questions if they had any of these items in stock.
Within minutes the forest grove store clerk went and grabbed both items for me without any hiccups/difficulties
The Forest grove store clerk even went as far as looking up both part numbers in the state wide system and told me with confidence that all oreilly locations in Oregon have these items in stock.
Don’t go to Aloha and start asking anything unrelated a specific car, make and model. Because they never seem to be capable of helping customers with the simplest requests.
Rant is over. Thank you
Thank God they were open during the ice storm. Most other stores were closed and I needed a new ice scrape.
Gentlemen name George helped me about my car battery, he came outside check it and ran few test/diagnostics about battery and alternator, answered my questions and make few suggestions.
Very knowledgeable and satisfactory.
Thanks for management to have such a great employee. Now on I will be their customer for long time.
Almost bought the wrong part, but asst manager Joni let me know which part I needed instead, and helped me install it quickly. Friendly and quick service. Good explanations.
I called in for a part and was told it was in stock, drove across town for it, to be told their inventory must be off because they can’t find it.
I went here alot over the last 5-7 years. Customer service has declined ove the last couple. Most recently a new employee I've never met reacted aggressively to me letting him know I'm using a shop account. He refused to apply my shop discount because he could not verify where I worked by calling the shop at 9pm and kept saying "I've never seen you! ". I left the parts at the counter. I'll be going to Napa nearby from now on. Most Napa parts are higher quality anyway.
Genie is just an amazing sales person. Retain and promote. She is 100% the reason that I will return!
Assistant Nanager Genie couldn't be bothered to help or acknowledge me. When I asked for help, she had a chip on her shoulder. Took my business elsewhere. Hopefully the employees under her aren't learning her poor customer service skills.
Have been chasing a problem for a week or more on an older pickup. Matt happened to be at counter when I first went in and was friendly as well as knowledgeable. I assume he is the manager. If not he should be.
Big shout out to manager & angel.left in such a hurry forgot my receipt in store but he still managed to make the return.
I found the part I needed, then went to the front to pay. There was one cashier helping another customer, and they were obviously heads down on finding whatever part that customer needed with no end in site. I waited as two other employees were aimlessly fiddling around while ignoring the growing line at the front of the store. After about 5 minutes passed, I looked up the part I was holding on amazon.com and ordered it. I set down the part I was holding and left. I would love to support our local businesses, but please try to meet me halfway, or I'll just order my goods online.
