Original Roadhouse Grill reviews
28Food came very late due to losing our ticket and when it arrived it was cold and overcooked. Not what I remembered. Staff was friendly though.
Really really inconsistent. But on their good days I have zero complaints they are awesome. They seem to always be understaffed lately. Not necessarily their fault but it hurts the overall experience. Hope they figure it out love the place.
My husband and I wanted to go out to dinner got here at 8 pm was told there was a wait but not a long one and she'd call us when they had a table ready. We were waiting for an hour before calling them and asking what was going on and they told us oh sorry we stopped feeding at 9 and that they were supposed to call us and tell us needless to say they never called and we never got to go in and have dinner.
Everything except the rolls and Texas egg rolls was terrible. The restaurant was filthy we had to asked at leat 3 times to get our complete order and still walked out without my sons dessert that was mentioned multiple times.
Call while outside to see what the wait time was and was told 20 minutes. Go in and get told its an hour and a half. Very dissapointed
Kind of pricey. For 3 it was$98.00. Prime rib was real fatty. Steaks were thin. Atmosphere was good. Good rolls good peanuts. Vegetables and potatoes were luke warm at best. For what they charge, maybe I set the bar too high.
The food is to die for, so mouth watering and tasty! I also love the hillbilly punch, that's where it's at people! And the bread N butter rolls
I got the most expensive steak on my birthday, it was a sirloin steak.
I was soooo disappointed when I saw my steak was smaller than the palm of my hand!
And cost over $30!
I mean dang was it good, but you wont be satisfied, hunger wise because it's so small.
It's also my bad because I always forget to look at the steak sizes, but it would be nice to be warned how small the most expensive steak accually is.
I miss the good ol' days when restaurants tried.
Rolls were stale like they'd been sitting, exposed to air for 3 hours. Tri Tip sliders had 3 tiny pieces of meat on each, almost sent them back.
This place as gone downhill, drive to Back Porch BBQ. Worth the extra 8 minutes.
Was there 8/14/2018 at 2: 20pm, 9 tables with people 2 or 3 dirty tables and only 1 waitress waiting on tables, took at least 5 or 6 min to get drinks then about 15 or 20 min to get our food and when ready to go another 10 min to get the bill. Name on ticket says Jordan was the server, but the person was a female. Will be long time before we go back!
Took my wife and children out to dinner here and I must say Im not impressed I had the slow roasted tri tip and my wife had the same extremely dry with no flavor at all the blooming onion was just a square of greasy oily onions smashed together ive been here before and got a burger that was decent so I gave this review a 1 start also the price for a small tri tip with a side of loaded potatoes was $18 give me a break
My girlfriend and I a meat there and we had to send ourmashed potatoes back there times, I've eaten there on several occasions this was first bad experience because I've never had a problem with the food.they took the price of our potatoes so it's all good.anybody can have a off day.
Their Hawaiian Steak and Jim Beam steak is absolutely amazing! Wish we had a Original Roadhouse in Klamath Falls We eat here every time we are here in Medford. Service and food are always top notch
The food was okay. Definitely Overpriced! Service was soso. Mostly turned off by the flys and gnats. Haha
Maybe all the peanut shells attract that.
Oh yeah, it's the type of place where they have peanuts and throw shells on the floor. If you have a peanut allergy don't go!
Decent food and it came quickly.service was good but the tables were sticky, the seat cushion moved around which could be a little dangerous because an older person getting up from a table with seat cushions not fastened down could fall. I didn't break it myself, I am not a big person.the place just needs to be remodeled! Bathrooms were not clean either.
We enjoy the salad and rolls, especially, but tri-tip is always good, too. Lots of sides to choose from. My husband likes garlic mashers, and I enjoy the garlic roasted green beans.
Ordered from A Little Less menu for ribs and chicken combo. It was one tiny piece of chicken thigh and 3 rib tips for $16.99. We expected more. To boot, the food was terrible. Dried out chicken, skinny ribs, slow service. We came in on a $10 discount but even the discount isn't enough to bring us back. Your brand promise didn't deliver to our table. Disappointed.
Soon as you walk in this place, just walk right back out. Just filthy, smells like homeless people sleep there and everything just looks horrible, food looks decent, but had no flavor. The waitress was nice. But will never go back, they need a make over, seriously.
It's always been great until our last two visits then it's been less then we were
expecting. Don't know what's happening but we'll go once more and see if it's just been a freaky thing or it's going downhill. The ribs are usually always good but the steaks for some reason are iffy. Especially our believed Tri tip. Always look forward to that.
Great food selection, nice crew, very tasty meals, I enjoyed the stay, had a good full service or Boneless chicken wings!
