Ossies Surf Shop, Newport OR

Ossies' Surf shop is the best. Newly remodeled and expanded the retail shop has all the great stuff. Cool apparel, hats as well as a great selection of boards and suits. All the extra in case something breaks during your day. Nice rentals as well. I own the Hotel, Starfish Point across the street and our guests use their services regularly. Always great service for my guests and so happy they are right there for us. A cool outside food truck and some great get togethers with live music. Totally cool. My son has rented there several times as well and has all the cool Ossies' apparel to sho'w off in Minnesota. They just fixed one of my boards perfectly and for a great price as well. Come to Agate Beach where the surf is great, a shop right there and a nice condo overlooking the beach. Perfect Combo. Thanks Ossies

Honest shop with a solid gear selection and a variety of consignment boards, plus the location is ideal. I really like the people working here, they don’t make me feel stupid for not knowing things:) just be prepared to run across the street for a bathroom

Started surfing at Otter and these guys hooked me up and helped me learn the ropes when I turned the big 3-0. Staff are friendly, shop smells of Zogs and prices are reasonable being a 101 shop. Check their used gear! Sometimes there are stellar customs on consignment!

Fantastic vibe and lovely staff. The instructor and owner of the shop is amazingly helpful and easy to learn from. Solid amount of both new and used surf equipment and gear. Super recommend!

Took a lesson from Kayli and loved it! She was so patient and I was impressed with the teaching she did before I even got on the board. It’s a lot to remember and will use this experience for next time (I didn’t manage to stand up!). And riding waves in is fun no matter what— so the morning was a huge success in my book! Guys in the shop were great and the food truck next door is yummy! A great experience overall!

Went in to get a skim board knowing basically nothing about it and the guy picked up on that, and helped me get a skimboard for a good price and even gave me a few tips on how to use it and apply wax to help my out.

Have rented boards from here and bought my first epoxy board from this shop (that’s since seen the world). I highly recommend the shop and dudes who work inside, they give honest advice even if it’s not what gets them a rental or sale.

I took a private surf lesson with Connor. Connor showed great enthusiasm for teaching and was able to convey his knowledge of surfing, making for a truly enjoyable experience.

Ossies is a big surf shop with a super rad crew of people working there. They will take care of all your surfing needs.

Dan and his team are great, I've been getting my wetsuits and surfboards at Ossie's for years.

Great shop and super friendly staff. Talked a bunch with Scott, he was super patient and knowledgeable. Surf shop also has great selection. Best surf shop around by far, will definitely be back.
