Out of Step Tattoo & Gallery, Eugene OR

I recently turned 18 and have been itching to get my first tattoo, I was walking downtown and saw the Out of step tattoo Walk-In sign and had to. I felt spontaneous and gambled for a get what you get and absolutely loved the design. BIG shout to Kirby giving me a tattoo that I love and for walking me through the safety and after care procedures. Going back in for another one soon for sure! ️️️️️

I’ve had such an amazing experience at this shop, there are so many talented artists and apprentices who are dedicated to providing personable, fun, and professional tattoo services. Everyone works really hard to create a comforting environment for your session! I’d highly recommend Casper, who does cute, detailed designs and is a budding tat artist! They have a ton of designs and I’m so excited for our future appointments.

My other favorite artists are Kira, Zach, and Brett, who’ve done my other favorite tats on me, and they all have very distinctive, creative styles, too! 100/10 stars

First let me say that all the staff is really friendly, a great atmosphere and my boyfriend had no problem making an appointment. They were very easy to work with our schedule and his tattoo turned out wonderful better than expected.

I had the BEST experience at out of step. I worked with Cas, who was absolutely amazing. I have been getting tattoos for years, and have never felt more welcomed, and comfortable! They communicated with me my entire appointment ensuring I was comfortable and getting me everything I needed and more. They will be my new artist for sure, and I will be coming back soon!

I’ve gotten a couple tattoos from Kirby and I love both so much! Lovely people, lovely space. And really fun artwork to browse and purchase even if you’re not looking for a tattoo.

I’ve gotten my last half-dozen tattoos there and have had nothing other than positive experiences while in the studio.

I had the pleasure of having Kirby tattoo on me 3 times. Each time I gave an idea & he brought it to life better than what I could have imagined. He is so friendly, kind, and carries the best conversations. His personality alone is worth going back to visit each time. I couldn't be happier having his work on my body & can't wait to spend time with his again in the future.

Out of step is my go to shop for all my tattoos. I recommend them to anyone and everyone that mentions my tattoos. Rhys is fantastic too. Everyone there is just the best and turning out amazing students.

Both me and my friend came in and got tattoos with Kirby. We had been talking with him for quite some time beforehand. Kirby did an excellent job working with both of us on perfecting the designs we wanted and also being clear on what would look good and what he wasn't the right artist for. And man was he FAST. The tattoos came out great and just so quick. He answered all our questions about after care. 10/10 will go again.

Definitely recommend Out of Step Tattoo. The vibe in the place is wonderful, very clean and right downtown. I had a wonderful experience getting my tattoo and everybody is so nice. They make sure your needs are met and everybody is very informative.
