Outback Steakhouse, Springfield OR

Came to celebrate my husband's birthday. I ordered the chicken and shrimp pasta. It was so spicy i was unable to eat it. Same with my step dads shrimp. My mother ordered the prime rib sandwich, but it was not prime rib in the sandwich, it was some kind of roast. Cost $200 including tip and only two people could eat the food. First and last time i will ever eat here. Save your money and go to Texas Roadhouse.

Decent places nothing was over the top spectacular. Waitress was nice just not attentive. Food was decent just I could of cooked a better steak at home though.

We usually have good luck at the Springfield, Oregon location but tonight’s experience was awful. The wait staff was just fine but the food was terrible. My sirloin was tough and bland; I barely ate any. In fact, I spit out most of what I tried to eat. My husband’s steak was basically raw in the middle. He ordered it medium/well. My son’s burger was charred to a crisp on the outside and they left on all the toppings he asked them to take off and left off the ones he wanted. I came home feeling nauseous and disappointed. We spent $120 on a meal we were very much looking forward to and now I’m just depressed.

I ordered prime rib sandwich. The cheese was extremely strong, the bread was dry and the meat was tasteless. The waitress was wonderful.

While visiting the university I stayed at a hotel next to Outback. My daughters and I walked over to grab a bite, my daughter who is a vegetarian ordered a loaded potato without bacon and my other daughter ordered mild wings. Then potato came with a load of bacon and the wings were Cajun. I attempted to go again alone on my last night in town, I ordered the pasta with shrimp and steak, medium. Steak was well done and my pasta was slimy with no flavor. I can see why Outback is scarce in Los Angeles, my hometown.

Even though I came in late, the people were awesome and the steak and lobster was fantastic and the salad bar was full and fresh. Thank you to the whole staff!

Every time we go here the food and service is excellent. Prices are inline with most restaurants and worth what you pay.

We eat at this Outback anytime we are in town and usually have good service and great food but I have to say I have been disappointed in the last few months with the food quality. I don’t come to this caliber of a steakhouse to have a salad from bagged lettuce. The salads used to be fresh and delicious…so disappointing! Also tonight my Victoria fillet had quit a bit of fat in it which I have never experienced on this cut of steak which is one of the main reasons I pay more for this steak. Please stop using inferior ingredients and go back to fresh produce.

I travel for work to Springfield, OR about once a month for the past 5 years and frequently visit this restaurant for dinner. I have always gotten a perfectly cooked and seasoned steak and the rest of the food is great. The staff is always friendly and I highly recommend this establishment. They know what they are doing there.

I know this is a steak house, but I love veggies, too. The bloomin onion was delish! As was the steak!

Stringy steak and mashed potatoes that tasted like fish. Chopped salad was good and blooming onion was perfect.

Outback steakhouse is a family favorite! We frequent the establishment often. The food is always fantastic and if we need anything, the staff are quick to help get us taken care of well. They strive to know their customers by name and the atmosphere is always laid back and friendly. If anything is not to your liking, the manager absolutely wants to know and be given the chance to make it right for you. Come enjoy delicious steak, drinks and appetizers tonight!

We consistently receive great food and great service whenever we visit! The staff are friendly and make sure everything is just right. The prime rib is a personal favorite and there's plenty of food to save for later or share with the kids. They always seem to have a table when other restaurants in the area don't, which is a plus!

Ordered food to go after a long day of traveling. Got a salad and carrot cake to share with my husband. Food was great. Didn't get any salad dressing or eating utensils though.

Outback from Springfield, Oregon catered my daughter's wedding Saturday, August 26th. They did the most fantastic job, everything was perfect. The food was great, the broccoli, the vegetables were great. The service was wonderful if you have a wedding going. I would recommend having outback cater your wedding, thank you.

Our problems started when we were served our food and they only brought 2 of us our food and made the other two stair at us eating while they took their time to get the others food out. When it came out, the steak was so beyond rare that it was cold to the touch in the middle and when asked if they could get us a different steak they took it and re cooked the same piece making it so tough that it was barely edible without choking on it. And on top of all that the bottom line is this is a meal worth maybe 20 dollars a person however we payed 160 dollars for 4 people. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

This is our new favorite place! Food was amazing and the staff was great! We'll be back!

First time at an Outback. The food was pretty good. Ahi Tuna appetizer was delish. The prime rib was a little dry but it was flavored great. Husbands pasta had steak burnt on the outside and it tasted really weird. I’m disappointed.
