Very poor service! Do not explain charges to you. So you get slammed with them if you want to get the process done. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Very slow to respond to you. Told everything covered by insurance. Then was told half way through that I would have to pay. Poor service. I DON'T RECOMMEND THEM!

They do not always get a face to face in person visit. Myself, i have a complex health history, so my pain is complex and they do not look at all of my pain issues. Such as i have a very hurtful almost broke foot, that i have to wear a brace now. Doc told i am not a Podiatrist. Rude!

I brought a patient who is legally blind and can't drive to an appt here for injections. It was 93* out and we had to wait in the car for 45 min before he could be seen. Ridiculous! But if your a patient and running " a little behind" they refuse to see you. Poorly run office!

Wish I could give zero stars. Called to speak to Jeremy or Savino and it is days later with no call back, no explanation. They seem to like playing around with patients mental, physical and emotional pain just because they can. It is a shame! I used to really like them and now. I wouldn't trust them for anything!

I have been go to pain specialists of Southern Oregon, for a little over 2 years. I am always greeted by my first name and after checking in am seen within 15 minutes, most of the time within 8 minutes. I wait but a few minutes In the waiting room and see my doctor Nancy, always is cheerful asks how I am doing. I could only wish all doctors and their staff could learn. I am always treated with respect and dignity, best pain specialists in Southern Oregon! I have had a few different people leave, but have always been given to another FNP, or physicians assistant. I, have been given a choice and treated, the Very same way! I want, to say further, if any business has all 5 star reviews, watch out! N, business can please everyone! I am now with nurse practitioner Leppert he is always keeping on time, always ask how I am doing. I know working with chronic pain patients can be hard and depressive. While, I am on my 4th person, I am treated with respect, dignity. I, could not ask for a better place to go, nor better people, who care! Physician assistant Leppert is my regular doctore know. You couldn't ask for a nicer, compassionate dr. Hope to have him for many years to come!

Spoke with a lady named Lexi on the phone and I can not believe how rude and disrespectful she was. She absolutely does not need to be in costumer service.

Eva's appt was scheduled for 1: 30 a today. Upon arrival, we were told that the appt.was scheduled for 2: 45 pm, which is code for a scheduling screw-up. She had to cancel another
appt.this afternoon. She was not addressed until 3: 40. Bad experience, no excuse. I know people who have been fired for this lack of communication and follow up. My time I lost is valuable also.

I had an appointment at 10: 15, No one was allowed to go in due to the Covid virus. Which was fine, understandable. The problem with this was I sat in my car for almost 2 hours in the blazing heat. I was drenched. I was upset that people who came in 20-30 minutes after I was there were coming and going and they had the same NP as me. When I arrived home I was ill. The system you have is not working very well.
I like Jeremy a lot! He’s a great NP, he’s always been very helpful and kind. Dr Johnston as well. Never ever had any problems with either.

Had an appointment at the treatment cent right next to the Pain clinic on Monday 07-06-20 after being rescheduled for injections that were supposed to be done on 07-02-20. The person called, left a message on my phone that they needed to reschedule but left no contact number. When I called back to reschedule, the person on the line set me up for injections at 11: 30a.m. On the 6th. I arrive at 11: 15, get the strangest look by the girl greeting me at the door who proceeded to tell me that they weren't seeing anyone else that day. Mind you I have been waiting 4 months for this appointment due to covid and staff not coming into that building. She goes to see what happened, allowed me inside with the hopes I would be seen. My ride takes off and leaves, thinking I would be under and ready in an hour. So I wait, she tells me the doctor was still there and that she would try to get me in for the injections. She came back and I was rejected. I guess the doctor had more pressing things other than to serve their patient and decided that the epic failure of his staff didn't matter. She offered for my husband to take even more time off of work the next day and to try again. I'm in tears knowing there is no way I can trust these people any more and no way that I can sacrafice yet another waisted day of pay. I refuse and limp out. Then come to find out that all of this time while on tele-health conferences they have been charging exorbanate charges for diagnostic codes when I have seen some one for 5 minutes from my living room. I would expect to pay a copay, but for the insurance company to be charged with a charge of over $300.00 per visit so that they could blow through my deductable and hit me with a bill of over $100 for sitting in my living room was the last straw. Calling the insurance company, they agree that I have been used for my deductable and these telehealth visits have been billed wrong. I have been a patient with these people for over 8 years and the quality of care has ran into the ditch. They care about the bottom line, the money and that is all. It is clear. It pains me to even give them 1 star.

Worst clinic ever! It’s a pain clinic and it takes a month to get an appointment.so I’m in pain and I have to wait a month.yeah.no.you are never able to talk to the doctor or even the doctors nurse. Girl behind the counter has no clue what is going on, and the check in process is a joke. They give you an IPad to fill out a bunch of questions and when you hand them the IPad the nurse literally says “ oh don’t worry about that, the doctor will get your info”. Then why the heck do I have to mess with it!? DO NOT GO HERE! There is plenty of clinics in the valley that are willing to help and do a much better job.

Dr Savino is an outstanding physician and has great bedside manner. He thinks about my case and researches for solutions and came up with an implant to fuse my right SI joint. It’s been six weeks and I’m close to pain free there. I bet L5-S1 I’m injections as well and he is always outstanding and understanding. I recommend Crater Lake Surgery Center and Dr Savino wholeheartedly.

I am so absolutely satisfied always with each experience I've had with Dr. Savino, surgery center and office visits. My surgery center experience has always been fenomonal. Amazing front desk staff Jennifer (always amazing, friendly, and caring). The nursing staff are all beyond caring, friendly, supportive and respectful. Dr. Savino and his assistant Sam/Samantha have always been such a beautiful blessing in my life. I love everyone in the surgery center and their personalized care I always receive. I'm a blessed woman to have the care I do and physicians I do.

I have been a patent of Dr. Savino for a few years and have always been treated with upmost care, concern, and respect. Dr. Savino and the staff are always professional and understanding. This past summer I had a BurstDR trial that went so well I was excited to get the implant in September. I am no longer a spectator in life but an actual participant. Thank you to Dr. Savino and the staff at Pain Specialists of Southern Oregon.

I find Dr Savino and his staff very caring. I have had no issues with return calls or office visits. I can't think of any doctor that could be more attentive to my issues. I highly recommend Dr Savino to any one in need of great care.

Wow. What a difference a year makes. This clinic now answers phone calls seeking Appointments, etc. Dr. Johnston is a great guy and took the time to explain the recommended procedure and hear my concerns. I chose to not use anesthesia and being wide awake during this procedure can confidently state, you can rely on this doctors skills. The office staff as well are friendly helpful and available to address your billing, scheduling and refill needs and concerns. Whatever took place this is a night and day turn around from last year and I will continue to return as a patient for the foreseeable future.

My Husband has been seeing Dr. Savino for the better part of 2 years. He has been phenomenal with achieving control over my husbands pain.
There have been problems with staff but Dr. Savino has been very quick to address them. The best resolution and greatest way to achieve quick contact with the office is to use MyChart, usually very quick communication.

Dishonest, unprofessional, uncaring, unkind.   This place is little more than an overpriced needle factory and when they cannot address your chronic pain, instead of referring you to a practice who can, they get rid of you.   This place fired me as a patient for "a breach of their opioid use contract, " when they not only failed to prescribe ANY medicine in SIX MONTHS but their own ongoing drug testing PROVED I was negative for anything. As a result of their incompetence to meet the insurance companies requirements, I was denied treatment of my compound disability and the ongoing fatigue from lack of palliative care cost me 22 months of schooling requiring regular commute from medford to Eugene and Portland and hundreds of hours of concurrent clinicals, practicum and work at three different medical facilities and most importantly, a fantastic career as a clinical scientist.   Additionally, when I followed up for treatment at OHSU, they said "The Pain Specialists of Southern Oregon, " did not share any records of the details of my multiple injections and treatments, regardless of me filling out a HIPAA release.   Their dishonesty is also demonstrated in their inability to accept responsibility for their mistakes as they love to delete truthful criticism.

Dr. Savino has a caring and personable way of listening while providing excellent medical care. In addition, my experience with Jeremy Cathey (NP) has been extremely positive.
