Palm Harbor Homes reviews
14They homes were set up as if it was a little community you could walk in and see them with electricity and you were warm. So you could actually focus on the homes.
Called to schedule a tour. There was no link to do that so had to get routed to sales person. I hated that option so I hung up.
Order a 5 bed 3 bath home with many upgrades which were not included. House has been on our lot for over 2 weeks and no one has come to fix anything while my family is living in tents waiting for the house to be completed. Very unprofessional. Buyer beware.
Great homes ours isn't completely yet but quality in the build is great. Tom Troutman is best salesman there to work with, straight forward and honest.
Staff was very friendly and helpful when my cousins were looking for a new home and they found their new home.
It's horrible to say the least. Staff in office are extremely rude and impatience with customers and other workers. People are put in catagorys of workers or grunts and customers are had better have money to buy.then office staff seems to think they are privileged and special.
Horrible! Homes Direct fails epically at every turn!
We have been trying to close a deal with them for 6 months!
The Manager Dallas and salesman Mark Hitch drop the ball on their end continuesly!
The owner needs to be notified on their failure
Ready to walk away
We have been approved with the lender for more then two months! Plus they won’t honor Palm Harbors October deals of free promotions!
Palm Harbor needs to find a new sales group!
Terrible customer service. Having issues with my heat and had a water leak. Got the leak fixed but now I need all the insulation replaced before it molds and they will not answer. Also the duct work going to one side of the house got full of water and they wont answer to fix that either. Half of my house has no heat and it is only 8 months old.
I have very positive experience with Palm Harbor, the real estate agency, Willamette Homes, definitely not so much!
Not the best craftsmanship, expect non-square walls, irregular texturing of walls that don't cover dry wall issues, hard to open windows, and an overall sloppy job. Still waiting to have house fully installed almost two months after we had house delivered.
When asked when the job will be completed this is the response I received after already waiting two weeks:
"When they become available from the homes they are currently working on you will be contacted for an appointment. "
You should visit them fantastic places to see. You can even have popcorn. If I ever hit
To buy a place that's where I'm going.
Before you buy a new home take the factory tour and learn how modern homes are built today with precision and more value for your money.
Grate experience, went in to look at a few houses getting a property and wanted to put a quick house on it. Mark helped showed us around and he was well educated on the way they were built and the pros and cons of a manufactured home vs a built on sight home I had a wonderful experience and will be looking forward to the day I can walk in the door and see my house. Plus the options they had for pricing and also extras made the destination a lot easyer for me to chose a good home.
Went to check out the homes.my wife is a professional interior designer (master's degree) and was pretty blown away by not only the decor at the retailer but the overall design of the homes. (Homes Direct retailer is right across the street.) The livability and easy flow throughout the homes would make them very comfortable to own. We'll definitely take the factory tour to see the nuts and bolts of how they are built. I hear it's pretty incredible.
