Panda Express, Bend OR

I have gone through the drive-in several times. Orders were taken very quickly, food was handed over very quickly. Food was great.

Classic Panda Express with plenty of food and quick service. Clean throughout the staff was inviting and knowledge. Fast buffet style counter service you come to expect from Panda. Please a drive through and pretty cool mobile app for advanced ordering. Overall good fast Chinese food.

Rice is not cooked all the way. I thought it was a fluke but have been back twice in the last couple years and its the same. And its not al dente its like inedible. I have been to other locations and its fine. Sad because the entrees are good and my kid loves the orange chicken, but I am not going to eat raw rice.

Came 5 times all 5 times the lobby is not open. There are clearly enough employees inside to open the lobby. No sign that the lobby is not open either. Wish there is a way this can be reported to panda corporate. This is the only panda I have been to where this is a consistent issue.

Good Chinese food for the cost. Better than eating a burger and fries from a fast food place.

Very great and nice people! Jin was an excellent efficient and friendly person. He was an understandable manager and led the team to success in serving. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family and any person under the age of 108

Huge fan of Panda Express. Not this location. I will drive to the new location even if it’s out of the way. I’ve never seen such lazy employees in my entire life. Whoever is running that place is an absolute embarrassment to the food industry. They close the inside lobby during peak hours and make you use the drive thru. My vehicle doesn’t fit so I have to walk through and they let you literally just stand there while they have conversations and take there sweet ol time. The food is probably a 5/10. Fried rice is always super dry and old. Like I said I’d rather drive out of my way to the new location where there is a little bit of pride in their work. I don’t want such lazy useless individuals cooking and handling my food. Stay clear of this place

They are never fully operational during stated business hours. If they are open, they have very limited options. Do not recommend.

Food is a great value. Always fresh. The staff are mostly knowledgeable. It's one of my favorites. Understaffed, so the dining area was closed, and the take-out window was our only option.

The food was good. It was exactly what we ordered. Some of the prices seem a little high but still within reason. The service was very quick and the guy running drive-thru was polite, courteous and patient. I didn't get any soy sauce with my meal though. I forgot to ask for it and they never offered so that was a bummer but over all a good meal. Im sure I'll be going back.

My boyfriend and I have super busy lives and sometimes need to pickup food to go after college, the gym, side businesses, and a full day of work. This Panda Express is our go-to place. The manager, Nickolas D, always greets us with a smile and asks us about our days. He knows us by name and is a great employee and person!

I had an incredible experience at Panda Express thanks to the outstanding service provided by Ices and Sapphire. Their friendly attitudes, attention to detail, and dedication to ensuring I had a delicious meal made my visit truly enjoyable. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a great dining experience, and I am grateful for their exceptional customer service. I would give them both five stars for their outstanding work and making my time at Panda Express memorable.: p

Always forget sauce for main dish. Makes no sense. Also forgot my main entree for a bigger plate. Essentially paid extra for nothing. I understand people forget things but at that point it’s stealing money. Couldn’t even go back or call because they close at 8 and we went at 7: 30. Also the only meal I ate that day. Just something to take into consideration.

I asked my mom to pick up some lunch on the way home from work around 10 which is when they open. My mom goes in they said it will be a while for food. I thought people were supposed to be in before open to prep but okay. So she waits. Gets it. Comes home. And I love the teriyaki chicken. I get the container and it’s this fatty. Gristle. Gross. No sauce. Chicken. I was sad. So I go to the broccoli beef I love that. The broccoli was rock hard and the beef was like over marinated because it was so salty. Orange chicken was good. I thought alright can’t mess up fried rice. Nope they burned the egg in it so very bite tastes burnt. I ordered pizza. Won’t be back.

They messed up my order but willing to make things right. That's good. So I will give them another chance.

1 star cause they closed the inside today, and my work vehicle doesn't fit thru the drive thru. They lost a lot of buisness today pulling this maneuver. Biased Review based on a sinlge bad visit, but not going back for a while ill spend my money elsewhere.
Update 7/19/23
Tried it again see pictures of portion of double orange chicken. They charged me for 2 item plate $9.60 but gave me a single serving. Im not going back, not worth the money.

This place is a consistent letdown. I’m pretty sure the lobby has only been open one time since the Covid lockdowns got lifted.

I always tell myself I won’t go back, but after a few months I forget how bad it is and decide to try it again. Today was one of those times.

The broccoli beef I ordered came with 3 small overcooked pieces of beef and 12 pieces of broccoli, about 80-90% broccoli. (See photo). If I had been able to order inside I would’ve let them know immediately the ratio was way off and requested more beef. Since it’s drive through only, I was too far from the restaurant when I opened my order to do anything about it.
