I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and got watered down sauce with a few noodles.

Staff are unprofessional.

Pizza was a quarter inch of cheese on an eight inch burt, and over flowered crust.

The bathrooms smelled like pee.

The 7 up was good though.

Someone needs to clarify that when you order the payola Nacho that it's big enough for the family. The beans were cold when it was served and the chips were burnt. The spaghetti was awesome, but 2 of meatballs is not enough.

It's been 41 years since I've been to Paola"s. The wife and I graduated from Sandy high in 1982 and that was the last time we ate their. Well here it is 41 years later not much has changed except the prices. I ordered a nacho supreme and the wife ordered spaghetti with meatballs. Dam we didn't know how big each meal was going to be until they brought it to our table. You guys outdid yourselves.

The resteraunt atmosphere is a bit greasy. Kids don't know how to work yet, hats off to the chef nice piece of prime rib! The squash slop needed some help!

Drinks are strong and well priced, food is a little on the greasy side - but pizza is good. They have specials almost every night, my favorite is Prime Rib Friday! Yummmmm.

Food is always good and service is usually good. We really like their tacos and most of their specials. The baked spaghetti and meatballs came with a huge slab of their homemade bread.

Good food, abundant proportions, great rustic west atmosphere. Service was great, the owner very involved with making sure people feel welcomed and taken care of.

Pizza was soooo bad. Crust was like over cooked Pillsbury out of the cardboard can pizza dough. The topping was bland. Service, had to flag someone for everything, no one checked on us, not to order, not for drinks, not to give the check. Too bad, this place has lots of memories.

We got the lasagna dinner. It came with a big portion of lasagna, garlic bread, and I got a side Caesar salad, all for about $40 with tip. They didn't have garlic bread, they offered us "garlic bowls". They ended up being oversized flour-and-water sorry excuses of rolls? Mini loaves? With some butter on the side. So doughy and dense.
Lasagna was not much better. Cheese on top was burnt, and the layout was weird. The pasta was extremely doughy and overcooked.and folded? It looked like a lasagna pie: 2 layers of folded pasta right on top of each other, ricotta cheese, meat sauce, then burnt cheese on top. This was disgusting, way overpriced, and that's just the food.
When we went inside to pick up our food, middle school-aged kids filled our order, while elementary school children were in the back of the kitchen.
What's going on? Super gross, weird atmosphere, just a no.

Paola's was good! The pizza was 7/10 average pizza, but it was a nice place to stop while on the road

We love everything in the barn pizza, but they need to work on being consistent with their food. However, love the staff, all of them are very sweet and friendly. Great drinks! Quirky interior.

We use to love this place, I mean, we still do. But the past two times we’ve been here the pizza was incredibly over cooked. The Taco Pizza meat wasn’t even cooked with taco seasoning so it didn’t resemble a taco pizza at all. My kids wouldn’t eat their cheese pizza and my 6 year old told me it was burnt.which it was again. Then tonight when we got there an older blonde women was extremely rude to us. I can understand people having bad days and not being the best when they come to work but man, it just wasn’t necessary. We will still come back and support you, and give it a few more chances.

Tried Paolas's tonight for the first time in many years since I had a really bad experience. Tonight, I found out the old owners passed and it has been under new ownership for the past four years. The restaurant is now clean and had very friendly staff. The bar was busier than the restaurant.

We had ordered a small pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, fish and chips, and chicken strips.

The pizza was crispy and tasted great. The spaghetti and meatballs seemed to be the favorite for everyone at the table. The fish portions were decent and they along with chicken strips
were tasty.

The staff were friendly, especially the owner. She told us about the change in ownership. She highly recommended that we try the baked spaghetti next time.

We will be back.

Stoped by here last night on our way home from the mountain. Great food, atmosphere, and crowd. Will easily become one of our regular spots.

After a full day at the mountain my family was tired and hungry. We order a large pioneer pizza, not knowing anything about this place, only choosing it because it was still open and on the way home. The pizza was sensational. So good in fact, I am leaving this review the very same night, still tired, but now full of the best pizza I have had in a long time. The crust was perfect, a little crunchy, the veggies were fresh, the pepperoni had a nice kick to it. Generous amounts of cheese. And served by a very friendly person who pours the coldest of beers. My wife summed it up by saying the pizza tastes like whoever made it actually cares.

I am surprised to see the amount negative reviews and I am so glad we didn’t see them first because we may have passed this place up. Now we are going to make it a regular stop after a day on the mountain. Can’t wait until next time!

WARNING!
Tonight we went here for Christmas eve dinner. We sat and waited for almost 2 hours for out food. THEY DROPPED OUR PIZZA THEN SERVED IT TO US. When the waitress brought it to our table she was crying. My son ordered the owie gooy bread which made him throw up in the car. The food was absolutely terrible. We live 1 mile away from this restaurant and by the time we got to the driveway of our home my son had already vomited and my husband, mom and myself headed for the bathrooms and did the same.
My mom ordered the hamburger which was served on stale moldy bread and she couldn't even eat more then a few bites. The lady who was serving us forgot to bring our appetizers when we asked about it. She said it was served to the table next to us. I told her no, that was the other ladies not ours. She offered to heat it up for us. So I proceeded to explain that someone else was eating it and we would not be eating it after someone we don't know. (The lady who served us the dropped dirty pizza claims to be the owner) we then decided to just pay and leave. We were offered NO DISCOUNT AT ALL.we paid 100$ to vomit, and use the restroom.

If you value your wallet and don't want to spend the night sick, don't go here.
The staff was OK. We felt bad for the waitress that was crying. But seriously.serving us someone else's food that they had ate from and serving us a pizza that had been dropped and we visually saw the dirt on the pizza
Not to mention when going up to the counter to pay we caught site of the filth in the kitchen. Absolutely despicable.

If you like the old log cabin style atmosphere like I do, this place is awesome. The last time I was there I was around 11 yrs old. I spent most of my time in the lounge area which is a small low light setting with maybe 10 tables and an L shaped bar which I personally like. The owner herself was bartenders and pours great drinks.
On the restaurant side it is a huge open space with vaulted A-frame ceiling, extra seating up stairs in the lofts with a giant fireplace that you can stock up yourself.old style claw machines for the the kids to try and tons of older signs and things to look at. Reminds me of Timberline Lodge inside. I will definitely be returning. Fridays for their Prime Rib dinners! Amazing pizzas and strong drinks
