Park Lane Suites & Inn reviews
13 Everything was good in the room we stayed, one thing was the reason why I don't give 5star was the bed room (we had room with kitchen) had some unpleasant smell like ammonia I thought was from washroom drainage, but I when to check it didn't smell, check the bed sheet, pillows, mattrss. All fine
But, as long as I lying in bed the smell get stronger, I wondering “MAY BE” there was small pet had some incident there because bedroom floor was carpet, can't really notice if thing happened
Housekeeper did really good job there, that I can't complain.
If hotel change the bedroom floor like living rooms not use carpet, then this place I will visit again every time I come to town.
Location is excellent and it was great to have parking. I didn't not find the room to be very clean. There were hairs in the shower as well as on the pillow.
We had checked in late so I didn't complain to reception because I figured I
would let them know the next day. I was then advised they only clean the room every 3 days so we were stuck with a dirty room. I did not see this mentioned on their website and I was not told this when I checked in. Had I known in advance I would not have booked this hotel. We were never offered
a different room.
Very CLEAN & affordable! EVERY employee I came in contact with was friendly & helpful. Above and beyond what I expected. I will be back!
A bit hard to find but was a super nice property. Rooms are spacious, clean and accommodating. Just a 15 minute walk to downtown Portland and all its attractions. Also a 5 minute walk to NW 23rd that has numerous shops, restaurants and bars.
The front desk was extremely nice. The kitchen suite is very roomy. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is great.
Parking is horrific! If you get room across the street from main building, no access to regular fridge or microwave. In room microwave can only hold 4 water bottles. No breakfast just cookies and coffee. Rooms are really small and cramped. Floor was not clean. Main building has a tiny cute courtyard that you can enjoy if someone doesn’t discover it first).
This place is in Goose Hollow near the west hills. It’s no frills but the staff is SO friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean. We got upgraded to a suite! You get coffee maker, a fridge, kitchen, and living room area. It’s great place if you want to be close to downtown with where all the action is but don’t want to be around all the riff raff.
They also gave us complimentary free tickets to the Japanese Gardens at Washington Park (which is a must-see in PDX)! So make sure to ask for those!
Even though they have free parking it’s not a lot so just keep that in mind. They have another hotel across the way if you want to park there but again spots are limited.
The only reason I give an extra star is because our room was clean. We stayed in room 130. The door next to our room had a sign taped on it (Do Not Disturb). All night long we heard this individual cough and it sounded like he was eating cereal for over two hours. Like a spoon hitting porcelain. Our bed crunched. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and accommodating. Because we were so tired I slept pretty good. Parking is tight this hotel is in a very condensed area right next to Providence park where they have their soccer games. Unfortunately, we stayed here during an active game night. That eating facilities are 0.3 to 0.7 miles away. I’m not sure you’re going to find a cheaper hotel that’s close to the amenities here in town. That being said I would look for another hotel before staying here again.
We stayed in the inn section which is nice but the rooms are smaller.think motel6.the back side has a great view of mount hood this is a great location everything is close this place is clean and the staff is great/very helpful. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone. PS.they do have bigger rooms.
Room was nice, but the front desk staff and housekeeping were AMAZING in helping me get back an item I'd left behind. Thanks again to Cheryl and the rest of the crew!
This worked very well for my family. It was near all the hotspots of Portland and staff was fantastic. But bring ur own lotion because they do not have any
No parking available. Most people were parked in a way that you couldnt use the open spots. There was way too many homeless people next to the parking lot. We made reservations because of all the good reviews. We got there really early but couldnt even find a parking spot. We tryed to cancel the reservation and go somewhere else but the person up front said the fee to cancel was 100 dlls. We ended up going somewhere else.
Clean room, comfortable bed, great price for the area, A+ excellent staff. Would recommend. The staff made me feel so welcome!
