Our son has been here since infant, and will continue until he graduates to kindergarten. When I found PMS (after a long search) I took a sign of deep relief, as I know my child is happy, stimulated and safe. Communication is good, the staff are lovely and I would recommend this place to everyone.

Both my kids attend and have gone through infant to preschool classrooms. Love this school, the teachers, programs, and sense of community. This school feels like family to us and I’m forever grateful for the teachers for their positive impact on my kids. My 2 year old counting in Spanish is a bonus!

Our baby girl (currently 9 months) has been going to Parkrose Montessori for a little over 3 months and we couldn’t be more happy with our decision. She is so happy at Parkrose Montessori. The teachers are amazing, she is learning so much, and everyday she is there, we know she is in good hands. What a great community! We love Parkrose Montessori.

As an educator myself, I wouldn’t write this review if I didn’t feel very strongly about my experience. We sent our twin toddlers to Parkrose Montessori for only two days this fall before realizing this was not the place for us and immediately pulled them out. We had a horrific experience with one of the assistants as he told my daughter she wasn’t allowed to cry on the second day of school. This was my daughters’ first experience in a school setting and I did not feel it was appropriate whatsoever, telling a child that they aren’t allowed to express their feelings in a toddler classroom? Educators should be doing the complete opposite and helping students navigate those feelings especially at that vulnerable age. They did not want to go back on the third day of school and we didn’t blame them. We addressed this to a Yosuany the director and didn’t feel he addressed it in the right manner and then didn’t want to refund our money when we only attended two days of his school. I have talked to a lot of my colleagues and all agree this incident was not appropriate and I will also be making a report to The Oregon Early Division.
