PDX MEAL PREP reviews
5I tried placing an order on the website but the website wasn't working. I tried sending a message through their "contact" page but the website said "Message can't be sent". I call them and no one answered. I tried to leave a message and the messaging service hung up on me.
Ordered for the first time this week and I’m very impressed. I’ve only had FitFoods in the past but this is much better. I love how there is variety and the menu changes so you’re not eating the same exact thing every week, also LOVE the containers they use. The food does not get watery or soggy when heating it up which I very much appreciate. I’ll definitely continue to order from them.
Update: I ordered from them again this week and was shocked by how good it is. The creamy garlic chicken was the best chicken I’ve probably ever had in my life, and the taco bowl was soooooo good.
My only complaint is the website is really glitchy and needs some work but the food is worth it.
So excited that PDX Meal Prep was recommended to me. I've only ordered twice, but the meals have all been fresh, filling, and tasty considering how healthy they are! Customer service has also been super friendly and quick to respond with answers to my questions. I am very much looking forward to not have to think about what meals I need to cook for the week anymore!
I tried this for a few months because I wanted to try a local meal prep service. I have tried big names like Factor. I was happy initially but finally cancelled this after about 3 months because the negatives piled up much too high.
Positives:
1. Many options for meals which rotate periodically
2. You can specify the amount of protein you’d like per meal
3. Great focus on sustainability with recyclable containers and delivery bags
Negatives:
1. They kept changing my subscription meals without notifying me.
2. ZERO customer support. I have tried calling, texting, emailing- absolutely never got a response.
3. Messed up my delivery dates twice.
4. The mobile site is completely unworkable- at least on iPhone.
I've used PDXmeal prep over the years. I used them when I was too busy to prepare healthy meals, and once again when I was down for surgery and needed nourishment while I healed. I know I'll use them again in the future. I like how you can choose from so many meals, lot of varieties are offered weekly. Thanks for getting me through my surgery!
