We love Dr. Birk! My three teenage boys have all seen him since birth, going on 20 years! We’ve always had wonderful experiences with Dr. Birk and all the PANW staff. We love his balance of humor and expertise. Recently, my son needed immediate GI care and getting the right specialist referral was tricky (not the fault of PANW) and we thought it would take months for my son to be treated. But Dr. Birk made some phone calls and my son was able to see a GI specialist the next day, and then he was admitted to the hospital for procedures. He was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and started treatments that took immediate effect, all within days! Dr. Birk called us from his home the night before my son went in the hospital and answered all our questions, which was very reassuring. We credit Dr. Birk with getting our son the care he needed without delay. He is our hero!

First time here in the US and first time bringing our daughter to thr Clinic. Dr Pilar treated us well and the front liners are really awesome!

Horrible. Do not recommend to every parent I can. They just don’t care about children.

We LOVE our pediatricians. They make well child care like vaccinations so easy and convenient. Also, they are responsive and compassionate when you really need them. When my daughter was really sick, they were on the phone with me multiple times in the morning deciding if we should go into their office or the ER. They treated us quickly and my daughter was on the mend. Additionally they checked back in later that day to ensure she was improving and the meds were working. All of the doctors here are phenomenal.

I have been going to this clinic for 3 years. I never thought they were great nor awful and our visits are short so I tolerate them. I have dealt with a number of microagressions in this office such as, questioning my financial stability, suggesting that I was on government funding, making assumptions about my career and strange comments about my and my children's attire. I've even seen people from this office looking through my LinkedIn Profile on multiple occasions. I let these instances roll of my back because again visits are short and I can easily move on with my day.

More recently, I had an interaction with Dr. Birk that left me dismayed over confusion around an Autism evaluation referral for my son. I asked for a referral and did not receive a referral as he does not believe my son is autistic. Although he doesn't believe my son is autistic, he recommended him for OT. When I inquired why he would recommend OT for a child that is "not autistic", he replied, "my bad. " This was enough for me to begin my search for a new pediatrician.

While we have been waiting to be seen by a new pediatrician, my nanny has taken my youngest son to this clinic twice. While at the visit, there were multiple inappropriate comments made to her along with a judgement about me (as a mother). This type of behavior is unacceptable and certainly not behavior that I will be paying to deal with. We will no longer be returning to this clinic.
