Pelican Brewing – Siletz Bay reviews
18Food was pretty good but over priced. Service was also fast. However, the experience was overshadowed by our 11 year old daughter running back to our table scared that a male walked into the bathroom with her. We hadn't realized until that point that it was an all-gendered restroom. Doesn't matter how good the food is, we won't return to a place that forces our little girl to use the same restroom as an adult man.
This is my new favorite restaurant on the coast. I had the Smoked Pork Mac and Cheese, and it was incredible. I'm not a huge BBQ sauce person (because you never know what flavors you're going to get), so I was nervous about this. The mac and cheese mixed with the pulled pork was SO GOOD. I also enjoyed that this didn't feel so "heavy", like some mac and cheese. My wife had the Pelican's Fish & Chips, and they were also fantastic. The fish was cooked perfect, batter was great, and they weren't overly greasy. I would 100% have either meal again.
Oh, and did I mention the sunset! I can't put into words how remarkable the sunset was. This building does and incredible job at showing off the astonishing sunsets over Siletz Bay.
While the food is good it's very pricey for what it is.
Pelican brews great beer but the flight is preselected so you have no options if you don't like IPAs.as well most the beers they have on tap you can get at any store. So not much to try that I hadn't already.
Really enjoyed this place. The food was delicious. The service great. Spectacular views to combine with the nice atmosphere of the place. We will surely come again.
We will definitely come back! After a long morning on the water it was a perfect place to warm up, have some fantastic chowder and sip some brew… and the service was great too!
The food was good, but the bathrooms were not okay. I walked in and there was a man in there. The bathrooms are gender neutral and made me feel uncomfortable. This creates a safety issue.
It's a great space but struggling to keep up with demand. Long waits on a busy sunny (but cold) day. The beers trend towards the strong ABV side although there are some lighter options. The seafood shack in the same building is unexpected but a welcome addition. Avoid the overpriced flat breads and upscale sides, which both fail to live up to the menu's description. Probably best to keep it simple and have a burger. A drink order never arrived. Still working out the kinks, I guess.
We waited an hour for a table, and it was well worth it. Plus, there's outdoor fires, spectacular views, seating, a walk up bar and places to walk to keep your occupied. The food is delicious, our server was really helpful and friendly and on the ball. We had a table at the far end with windows all around, so you couldn't beat it. Recommend the calamari!
It's Pelican Brewery so you know it's good. Prices are a little steep but the restaurant is gorgeous and staff is on point.
Clam chowder was excellent, it was a lively place for Lincoln City. It was nice to have a new place to eat that actually stayed open on Saturday night instead of closing up like most places here do. This was a busy place with lots of energy. Awesome view of the ocean and beach. I was going to go to Pig and Pancake, but they are closed on Saturday night. That sucked, oh well, my money went to a better place anyway and I will give myself an upgrade and go to the Pelican Brewery instead.
The food was really good, but the prices are pretty ridiculous for a meal. I wouldn't recommend ordering onion rings with your burger. I didn't get any nice rings, just the end pieces of the onion. All the nice rings are probably used for the onion ring appetizer.
The building is nice with multiple outdoor fireplaces, has a great aesthetic, and peaceful view. Food was cold and basic, although they were sold out of the first two things we tried to order. The wait was an hour at 4pm. Our server acted like she hated her job. We were charged for $50+ worth of food we didn’t order and didn’t notice until after they rang us up. Sad to say we won’t be back but maybe it was just an off night.
Gorgeous views of the bay with good food and beer. A bit pricey, but that's to be expected for the area.
Very kid friendly with a kids menu and accommodating staff. Family restroom available.
Place is amazing! Only thing is we sat kind of close to the window and it was blinding! People don’t want to squint looking at their food and don’t want shades covering the beautiful view! You guys need some window tint! @oneworldwindowtinting is AMAZING!
What a fun spot on the bay. As with the other location, great food an beers, friendly and good service. Just a great spot!
A nice Sunday out with good friends and my lovely wife. Service was great.especially if you like to chat with your server! JAMIE WAS AWESOME! Food was also exceptional Would definitely recommend
Excellent brews food and view at this newer location for an olderOregon coast brewing leader
Love the new place. Have eaten at several and I like this one best. Food was really good, with one exception, the marionberry buckle was burned. Gotta watch those when there are berries involved.
