We visited this campground in mid July. There were well kept toilets, pump water, a nice stream, a dock, and a fabulous lake to paddle around with kayaks and paddle boards. We saw lots of people fishing. When we were there we also saw a few boats pulling people on water skis.

We love to take the dog to walk at Perry South off season. During the summer we like to take friends to fish.

Pretty nice place! They even took the garbage for us, and it was surrounded by trees. Even had wifi access but was a really poor speed.

Very dusty and dirty. Boat access is great. Camp sites are pretty good. Outhouses are not maintained well and smell in campsites around them is very strong.

Amazing campground with over 60 sites. Very kind and knowledgeable hosts, and has a variety of sites, from forest cover to lakeside and open desert. We stayed in one next to a stream, which was nice for the kiddos to play around and peaceful to fall asleep to. Caught a ton of fish, on almost every cast from the dock, and explored nearby where there are amazing trails and natural desert features.

Be warned, there are some critters and we were rattled at by a rattlesnake and saw a scorpion, both on rocks off the beaten path. Overall would definitely recommend and we are going back. Will try to stay nearer the lake next time:)

It definitely wasn't worth ripping out my oil pan and blowing up my motor on my car to get out to it. The road is a boulder field of rocks about the size of footballs and basketballs Plus there was a toxic algae bloom so you can even swim in the water which was cold AF

Cute secluded campground that is very family friendly. A variety of different spots, but you should probably plan on reserving to ensure a spot. Close boat entrance with first come first serve boat docks.

This place was absolutely great! The camp hosts were absolutely fantastic and super kind and really great with the kids (we were across from them with a lot of people)
The lake was amazing and a fun spot to fish (you will need to get a tribal permit and you can get them from Miss Julie at her wonderful store about 15 miles from camp) the camp sites were pretty great sized and it was a very clean place. The bathrooms had pot toilets but they were so clean. I will definitely be coming back and we came from Portland!

ZERO Stars! Our family had reserved 5 nights at the end of August. We left early & only stayed 2 of our 5 nights because the camp hosts were horrible people! We've been coming to this campground for many years, but will most likely not return unless they get different hosts. We come here to relax, not to be bullied. I'm 58 years old. If I want to ride my bike without a helmet so be it! If my grandchild wants to jump off the dock it's not anyone else's business! If my daughter's family wants to camp "with us" it should be none of their concern. The hosts are there to keep the camps clean, collect money & make sure quiet hours are adhered to & that is it!

The camp host's are completely awful to deal with! They police everything you do from riding on your tailgate, riding a bike without a helmet, even swimming. Don't go here if you are looking for peaceful enjoyment because you will NOT find it here! You'll just get constant badgering & threats! Boo on PGE! We wan't Hoo-Doo back!

Sites are soo close together, it's totally gone downhill since Hoodoo stopped managing it. Communication from the website reservation site and the Camp hosts is horrific. Trash left in the campsites, the bathroom was covered in puke and poop that had dried on to the toilet. No tp in the bathrooms. The camp host, the old man was an absolute jerk to us and made us feel completely unwelcome. Apparently broke locals with 7 kids who reserved in advance paid in advance but cant afford Yuppie row or a new rv that none of them know how to drive are frowned upon at this campground. Hoodoo managed it phenomenally but then the gov outsourced to a Californian company and it has gone downhill fast just like Cali. God forbid you move to an empty site that has no reservations when you find yours that you reserved and paid in advance for taken you will be lectured for 30 min. We have a ranch and get one night a year free to camp. While the scenery cant be beat this is not the place it used to be.

Perry South campground use to be great. Usually it is very peaceful and fun for the kids and family. We have been going here for 18 years now. The place has improved greatly over the years. However, this year was a horrible experience. The camp host gets on your case for everything. From riding in the back of truck to & from campsite for swimming and fishing (while driving 5mph), threatens to shoot your dog cause it is being walked by your child, told that dogs jumping off the end of the dock and swimming back to shore is forbidden & then the same host taking pics of your kids without permission. Horrible experience. The great thing is the sheriff's department regularly patrols this campground. So every night we had to flag him down and tell him what was going on.

This is a great campground with a horrible Camp host.
