15I will go out of my way to never enter this Petco again. The employee working the cash register on Monday 01-02-23 had a Snake wrapped around his hand while checking customers and giving change! COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATE! I have a deep rooted fear of Snakes! I will NEVER be back!
Disgusting. The fish are not taken care of. Whenever I pop in I seldom see a tank without a dead fish. It's just sad.
The employees are very friendly, very low on stock but very pet friendly. My dog was given a treat by the cashier.
Let me preface by saying I feel truly sorry for the staff members who are working as hard as they can here, it's not their fault seemingly one person is being made to run the entire store by themselves.
Shelves are constantly empty, floors are covered in trash, and sometimes it takes ten minutes or longer to find an employee able to run the register. I've had to stop using this store. Their complete inability to keep even main brands, basic pet food, stocked means that I can't actually expect to come into this store and get even the basic essentials, I can't even buy the usual brands. Items are on shelves with no prices. Items are scattered on the floor, and garbage is all over. It's a mess and it's only getting worse as time has gone on. The in store pickup area is trashed as well. See attached photos.
I feel truly sorry for the folks stuck working as hard as they can at this location despite what appears to be a total breakdown in management. It isn't their fault they are needing to restock, clean, help customers, and run the register when they're so critically understaffed.
They don’t have any groomers but still allow you to make appointments and send appointment confirmations. Useless and a waste of time. Shut down your service if you can’t staff it goodness gracious.
This Petco is our local. It's almost always had what we need for our animals. Was out of our dog food a few times but on average has all the things our pupper needs.
Came in here specifically for their vaccination clinic for daughter's dog, but ended up finding supplies for her pet rats, as well. The people running the clinic were extremely friendly and competent, as were the cashier staff. It's a good sized store and everything is organized very well. Definitely will be back!

This location has some pretty awesome knowledgeable staff who genuinely care about the animals in their store.
Took my dog for grooming, uneven and choppy, didn't cut the hair between pads and I could still smell the cologne I put on him myself. I asked her to leave his ears curly and they are gone, cut off.this is the first time this had happened so I'm hoping I can just get a different groomer and give them another chance.
Got some feeder fish for are swimming pool to eat the mosquito larvae works better than poison
Don't take your dog to the groomers. Just don't. Service was always shoddy at best so eventually I only started taking my dog here to get his nails trimmed in between grooming appt somewhere else. Never had a problem before. I always say he's has a heart murmur, he's on medication, and everything is fine. This time the groomer told me that she "can't groom him, it's against their policy" and that she could lose her job. I asked since when, we've been coming here off and on for 14 years with no problems. Then another girl refers me to petsmart or the vet.
Here's my problem; 1) she lied, it's not their policy, it's at the groomers discretion to deny service, 2) I scheduled the appt in advance and no one even asked me about it when I made the appt. If they cannot provide the service, do not make an appt with a client, 3) do to a lot of barriers in my life it was extremely difficult and expensive to even get there just to be turned away.
Honor the appts you make or DO NOT make them. Do not turn people away from a scheduled appt because that particular groomer isn't experienced enough to do their job.
Customer service was great. Cashier had the cutest danger noddle in one hand and rang us up like a champ with the other
This is in response to someone who gave a bad review to help offset it. Just a typical Petco. Don't know what you'd expect someone to post. People that work in these places come and go, some are nice and helpful, others are not. Usually the store is kept up, other times it's a work in progress, maybe delivery truck came late, staff called in sick. Just business as usual in retail.
