Pier Avenue Rock Shop, Cloverdale OR

The shop owner, Lee Kingis not only a very nice guy, but he has a wealth of lapidary knowledge and is willing to share it with anyone who asks. He has raw rock in his side yard that he sells by the pound. And sometimes he has lapidary equipment that he slso sells.

Our family has so much fun looking around in here, the owner was so kind and knowledgeable. If you like rocks it's Definatly worth your time to have a look around.

This is a great shop. Absolutely worth a visit if you're in the area! The owner has been collecting for decades - he told me he's 83 and has been collecting since he was a toddler. It shows! He knows his rocks and he has an impressive collection. If you like chatting about geology, rockhounding, beachcombing, and simultaneously searching through piles and bins of amazing material until you score your own awesome find, you cannot do better than this shop. I can't wait to go back!

My husband and I stop by yesterday and the family owners are really nice, the Dad he really knows about rocks, his son and the wife's son are really nice, do not miss to stop and get amazing rocks.

We really enjoyed this shop and the beautiful specimens. We enjoyed the gentleman who owns the shop even more. Hope to be back soon!

Great rock shop off the beaten path! The owner was super nice and his cab work is beautiful along with the quality of stones and great prices! Good thing I don’t live closer or I’d be broke!

Doing a family trip in Oceanside, OR. The closet rock shop was pier Avenue, it was a 30 min drive one way. When we got there Lee met us at the door. He was very kind, knowledgeable and the prices were fair. It felt like a hidden gem. Thanks for the experience
