Pine Hollow Lakeside Resort reviews
15 Great place if you like to party! Stayed there the weekend after Labor Day they had a dog show on site. One group had a projector, band and dj until way past midnight. Quiet time was supposed to be 10pm. We went and politely asked the dj to turn it down (not off) at 11pm and they turned the music up. This group comes often as the projector was showing some really cool pictures from previous trips all titled Pine Hollow and the year it was from 2012 was the oldest year I saw.
The fire ban was still in place and we counted at least 5 sites had wood burning fires. Easy to tell the difference when there is smoke or not smoke.
Since it isn't being monitored for noise or anything else I would say great place to come party. Yes the charge for extra everything but worth it with all amenities on site.
We will be back we had a great time even with littles. Next time we know more what to expect.
I stayed in an A frame this weekend, and it was okay. They are pretty basic units. The word "resort" can be sort of deceiving. This is a large campground with a mix of owners and visitors. Many people own trailers/rvs and have their own space that they pay for on a yearly basis. They have laundry, showers, restrooms, and a game room with some older arcade games. There is also a restaurant on premise with a full bar.
Late summer, the water in the reservoir gets very low. They have boat rentals and stand-up paddle boards. I have been here 2 times and have been able to catch fish each time. They regularly stock this lake with Trout, but I have also caught Bass and Bluegill.
Friendly environment and easy access for fishing off the bank. Able to get cell phone service as well. Easy to get to in any vehicle as well!
Had a great time. Happy to see frank is still as sharp as ever. The updated bathrooms are nice as well as the siding on all the structures. Wouldn't change a thing.
Place seems to be run down since i last visited. I love Pine Hollow. Been going there for years. Heather has really changed the menu. Food is amazing.
I love this place for camping. This is my second year in a row and will continue to come back.
Big and beautiful. Hot tho. Even with a standing A/C unit it gets very hot inside, luckily there is a big weeping willow out front to hide in the shade during the heat of a summer day.
Pine Hollow is a very relaxing place to camp. We had a wonderful time. There is no sewer, but they have a dump station. They also for $25, come and pump out your tanks. Some of the spots are kind of hard to get into. The restaurant has good food and nice employees, it is not part of the park. There is a small store to get supplies. If they don't have what you need, there is a bigger store 4 miles away in Wamic. There is gas at the Wamic store also.
We plan on going back. It's close to home.
Food is delicious, above average and the service is awesome! This is a must try restaurant and bar! All new interior, clean and inviting! Great people too new owners
Decent campground among the trees along side Pine Hollow Reservoir. Boat, SUP, paddle board rentals available. Clean showers and bathrooms. Kids playground. Bar and restaurant on the property. Only real downfall is that the Camp sites could use a little TLC as they are not totally level. We'll be back.
Extraordinary small town hospitality. We thank God every day that we live in this community.
I've been going here since the early 80s. Still a fun spot to grab lunch, do some fishing, or spend a weekend in a cozy cabin.
Very relaxing place on the lake! We loved our A frame cabin. Everything we needed was provided. Will be going back again!
