Pink House Cafe reviews
12This was an adorable place. Definitely worth checking out. It was filled with friendly staff and the restaurant is situated in a charming old Victorian. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the independence Oregon area
Best service anywhere. Maria is a sweetheart! Food was just good but the service was great.
Portion of half order was more than enough, cute little place. Owner friendly and checked every table.
Great place for an out of the way bite to eat. We sat out front and there were only two tables out there. Service was the worst part of the experience. If we had been inside it would have most likely been a bit better. Food was delicious and the portions generous. If you're in the area, I would recommend giving this place a try!
The Pink House Cafe is a stunning little place to eat! We stumbled across it while exploring the area, and have now went multiple times and bring our friends to let them enjoy the place as well.
The house has historical photos and memorabilia all throughout, which leads to an atmosphere of eating in a tiny time capsule.:)
The food is delicious and well priced. The staff are friendly and always ready to help if you have questions or requests.
Definitely going back more and showing this place to even more friends!
If you visit the region you definitely have to stop at this beautiful cafe and the breathtaking surrounding. Enjoy your stay!
Prime rib steak and eggs for their special. I ordered a rare steak. 10 minutes later the server comes back and says all they have is medium. OK, fine that'll work.steak comes out well past well done. I didn't know prime rib could get that cooked.was awful.ate 1/4 of it and gave up. We won't be eating there again. Spent $23 on toast, some potatoes and eggs since the steak was god awful. The restaurant didn't even pretend to care that the item was bad.
We ordered food to go and they messed up one of the items in the order so we called to get the sandwich remade and they agreed to remake it. When we got there, they asked to see the messed up order because "he knows he didn't put mayo on the sandwich. " We had the incorrect order in the car and got it. Upon showing the sandwich, they TOOK BACK the incorrect order and gave us the remade sandwich. The fact that we had to prove the order was wrong makes me not want to go back. I thought the customer was always right.
The first time I visit this place and it left me with a pleasant taste in my mouth, the service is first class and the atmosphere cozy.
Updated 4/13/23: Still solid. Previous experience may have been an off day.
Updated 3/17/22: Jury is out. Will require a 3rd trip to see if they're solid. Showed some signs maybe of change or transition. I'll update on my next visit.
First time here and this place is a hidden gem in Independence. It's a rustic venue and has a mini McMenamins feel. The owners, Jorge and Maria, along with Mirea are super hospitable and make it feel like home. There are many rooms with slightly different settings on both floors. I went with family so I tried five different meals. All were legit! The Pink House breakfast, Chorizo Scramble, Meat and Veggie Scramble, Veggie Scramble, French Toast, Oatmeal, biscuit and fresh fruit all delivered. This review would be way too long if I dissected all of them but here's the bottom line. I can almost guarantee you can order anything off the menu and you won't be disappointed. From the time we arrived, were seated, received and ate our food, it was a great experience that you need to come and experience. Reservations are accepted too. The Hernandez family and crew are a diamond and are the epitome of great local business. They are why we support local businesses. Props to The Pink House!
Unique cafe in a little two story pink house. Seating is arranged in the little rooms of the house. Cozy not too private unless you get the middle entrance room like we did. Outdoor patio fir tge summer.
