2I came all the way from Sweden to meet with milliner Dayna Pinkham. This is one-of-a-kind artisanship!
This store is perfection. I have been looking for a rabbit skin fedora for quite some time. The hat I purchased at Pinkham exceeded my long held expectations.
What makes Pinkham such a landmark is primarily the owner of the store. She is a caring, friendly person who is an artist with her craft.
Pinkham is an 'old school' establishment where the hats are crafted by hand to meet the needs of the customer. For example; I came in, tried on a hat that I thought was ready to go, and was told there needed to be several adjustments made before I could walk out with it. The fact that the owner demands to have perfection leave her store is pretty cool in my book.
I look forwards to purchasing another hat here in the near future.
