You guys helped me get birth control when I didn’t have insurance years ago. A lot of us will need Planned Parenthood at some point in our lives.
Thank you for being there.

Wonderful to hear they are preparing for the large increase of patients & big shout out to Oregon Legislature for $15 million (!) in Abortion Healthcare funding to help those traveling from Idaho.

Kind, quick clean and considerate! Everything you expect from a planned parenthood!

Updated to add: I have been diagnosed with PCOS by East Cascade Women's Group, highly recommend them. I really wish I would have been listened to rather than brushed off; always advocate for yourselves ladies.

The front desk staff has always been great, as well as the assistants that prepared me for my appointment (s). When with the actual nurse practitioner began working with me, I felt extremely uncomfortable. Her bedside manner was the worst experience I have ever had.

I have specific concerns about my health, all of which she brushed off because the tests that she ran came back fine. (More needs to be done outside of this office, but she essentially acted like I was crazy and in my feelings.) She did not listen to how I felt without some kind of interjection or opposing opinion on what it could be. There is a difference between suggesting something else it could be, and shutting down what is happening to me, to which there is so far no explanation.

I was strongly advised to change my birth control method pretty much just because, with no real explanation after using it for years and not being happy with anything else. I even explained that I tried methods that I was told were similar and didn’t work out, and apparently I was misinformed by a different provider on how similar those methods were, and was rudely explained as to how different they are. I explicitly told her it was not this office that misinformed me and I still got a rude explanation.

When asking me about cancer history, I couldn’t get any words out once I wasn’t able to directly answer her because she talked over me the whole time, making it much more simple than it actually is. I tried to get out that I do not know my family history, but she brushed it off as if everyone should know what theirs is without even listening to me. What if someone doesn’t have family? Or is not close with them? How awful to assume.

She would explain what she would be doing to begin the exam, but once started, I would feel random, painful things happening with no notice. After the exam, I wasn’t told what to expect afterwards. I was so embarrassed and upset by her bedside manner I had to GOOGLE what was normal after the exam so that she wouldn’t make me feel more stupid, which she did the entire time. In such a vulnerable state this is completely unacceptable.

I am an advocate for Planned Parenthood, but this was an awful experience.

I had my first IUD insertion here on Friday, and went to the E. R.for severe pain. Turns out it was placed incorrectly, and I was told to return.

I promptly returned as soon as I could and told them I had a medical emergency. I waited for a total of nearly two hours to be seen. The specialist here, who I visited yesterday, told me everything looked just fine and gave me antibiotics for an infection they weren't even sure if I had.

I already wrote a review, to which their manager told me in person to take it down, giving me a speech and mocking me at the end. As always, using the pandemic as an excuse. It was extremely unprofessional and made me feel horrible.

I had the IUD removed just a few moments ago at another women's center, and I was told it was pushing against my uterus' lining and could've had to have been surgically removed.

The staff are otherwise very nice but I have been put through days of extreme pain and silenced about it. This could have been avoided, and I honestly wouldn't be as upset if they didn't come in and ask me to take down my honest opinion of how I was treated. This should be known; please be cautious.
