Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen reviews
24On their menu the sandwich is possibly and probably the best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life
Good Popeye's-consistent food but the menu is a little sparse. No Po' Boys or typical dessert options. Associates are friendly, thorough and fast. If you like Popeye's, this is a good choice.
Really bad Popeyes. They should be at least half decent, but no. Something gross about the food here, much worse than the Popeyes north MLK in front of Safeway, the sodas and fries are hardly edible.
The flounder fish sandwich is delicious! Everything about it was hit, fresh, and ready to digest it's yumminess!
They made a large order for my office today. Food was ready on-time and they got everyone's order right. Thanks, Popeye's!
Hot and fresh chicken and seafood (shrimp). Always the BEST food on the 2 MLK stores. All the other Popeyes I have been to are Trash! I have been to Aurora, Salem, SE/and Gresham in Portland, Nothing tops the 2 MLK locations. NOTHING!
Im a vegetarian so I cannot speak to the meat but I did try their Cajun fries & mac n cheese. The fries were great. They were hot but not 3rd degree burn style and the amount of seasoning was just right. They had a nice crisp texture on the outside and were not mushy on the inside. I would definitely get them again. The mac n cheese came hot and was a decent portion for their regular size. I wasn't a huge fan of the flavor tho and it was too artificially creamy for my liking. It was a little bland and could have been easily improved with a little less cream or milk n butter and a bit of shredded cheese on top.
I used the drive thru which was pretty quick considering how busy they were but was asked to hold several times. "I can take your order whenever you are ready. " 5 seconds later, " Hold please. "
This happened humerous times. Yes, humerous is the correct term because it was often and rather funny.
This Popeyes has a breast and biscut for $2.99 compared to aloha Popeyes that charges over $6 for a breast.
A preferred spot for quality chicken. Definitely one of the best places in the area. Bring your appetite because portions are large.
Chicken, yeah, my preferred treat.you will not be disappointed in the menu and service.quick, helpful, and friendly service.the place has an awesome feel to it.i can see why they have a lot of great reviews.
I've been to every Popeyes in Gresham and Portland in the last few years and this one on MLK is still the only one I absolutely love it's consistently amazing well the other ones are adequate
Prompt curtious service.
I did not like the music playing in the back ground I think someone thought it was Cajun music.
I've been to Louisiana and I've heard true Cajun music that was not it.
Bad Service the Manager looked past me to watch TV. Also the food I got had probably been sitting there since Jesus was born.
I always get the chicken poboy. Its changed a bit over the years but the original flavor and integrity are still there amd glad to see that there are more and more popping up around the metro area. The mashed potatoes or fries make and excellent side with the poboy. Also one of the few places that has strawberry soda in their fountain soda selection.
Popeye's was a quite surprise with delicious food and perfectly cooked chicken and shrimp.
I seldom eat fast food and rarely eat fried foods, but this was really tasty and their service was very helpful and friendly.
Thanks a lot!
Last week we had the best and yet super chilled out customer experience, the guy reentered my order to save a couple dollars, then they threw in a couple extra biscuits, he could tell I hadn’t been in years and made sure I got all the good sauces and honey for the biscuits.he was just so nice to us. The place was clean, relaxed, everything was super fresh out of the frier and oven.delicious. You don’t expect to be treated that nicely in a fast food restaurant and it made my night.
1st time dine -in visit on a weekday afternoon during rush hour. Was greeted by an attentive and ready crew ready to prepare my order quickly. Observed drive-thru service was equally impressive for time of day. The food tasted great and the sound level of lively Cajun loudspeaker music set the tone for a really great experience.
Friendly service at the Fremont & 82nd street location. I've experienced the OPPOSITE FROM THE SITE MANAGER located on MLK Blvd. However the counter, and drive thru associates were cordial and quick
His place is always great. Always new menu additions that please the palate. Staff is quick and always courteous. Thank you for your time and effort in the community.
Good food like a good Popeyes Louisiana kitchen. Customer service was okay. I like it overall. 4.5 solid
