Amazing assortment of vendors selling hand made items. Most are reasonably priced, some are way over priced. Several vendors will ship items if you ask them to.

Wow! What a calm and colorful place! I happened to come here because I live in hotel nearby and was impressed to realize that there are Farmer’s Market just around the corner. The market is hosted in the beautiful very relaxing park nearby. You can find here many vendors selling fruits and vegetables, bread and pastry, salami and nuts. Many stands with fresh flowers add a certain beauty and vibe. I was very happy to find red currants here. The variety of fruits and berries is splendid.

This market runs on Mondays to Wednesdays till 2: 00 pm. And then vendors start to pack, so if you still come at 2: 10pm you can find a good deal here. There are also few stations of cooked food vendors nearby, so you can enjoy having a tasty meal sitting one one of plenty of wooden benches in the park. Park is wide and have two alleys with many benches to sit on. The shade is provided by crowns of very leafy and tall trees. I also happened to witness a wedding this afternoon, that was a very romantic touch!

All the busy life in this oasis was accompanied by a gorgeous saxophone music done by Edward English!

I’d definitely recommend you to stop by the Portland Farmer’s Market and check it out!

Lots of fresh produce and friendly vibes. Picked up some cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, cherries and pickles.

This is my favorite downtown-area market.it’s small but the park is beautiful and shady, the vendors very nice, the cooking food smells are wonderful. The prices, of course, are twice what they are at Safeway, whose produce is always excellent, too. If I didn’t get produce vouchers and food stamps I wouldn’t be able to afford it any farmers markets. I do recommend, no matter what, the nectarines/peaches stand in the middle. They’ve been heavenly for at least the past three years. The smaller vendors often have nice things as well, look around.

It's grown since I was there last.
Found everything I needed for a French Market Provencal vegetable soup. And more. A couple musicians playing Harvest Moon. Just need some Birkenstocks for my next visit

This is my favourite location of the Portland Farmers Markets. Beautiful setting amongst the park blocks. Huge variety of vendors- several produce, flowers, meats, chocolates, lavender and bakery. They also have food vendors if you just wanna go down for lunch. During July when EVERYTHING is in season it can get a bit crowded but not too bad. I do recommend that you get there on foot because parking is a NIGHTMARE. I do wish that they did more of the SNAP benefits matching that the other markets do but it's fabulous nonetheless.
